Hied myself down to the store today and very frustrated by state of the economy. 4th of July sale, and coupons, and still out of money with very little to show for it -- and also I'm just, over coupons in general right now, I'm tired of trying to guess whether or not a coupon will apply to something and only being able to find out when I ring it up and it either discounts itself or doesn't. Also over that store in particular's shady practices in trying to trick people into thinking something is a better deal than it is

Gonna be a rough one today. Didn't get enough sleep, it never really cooled off in my room overnight, and it's already 83F outside. The garbage can didn't make it to the street in time for the trucks last week, so the can is full and I've got garbage in my room waiting to go down, and it smells. And ants have continued to appear in my room and I'm worried about them getting at the cats' food, because I have to leave that out, you know, for the cats

I sprayed bug spray around half the house last night and I'm going to get the rest of the house in a minute here -- I didn't want to have to leave my door closed all night, but it stays closed during the day anyway what with the heat, so. Got Ivy-accessible areas done while she'd be in for the night and doing the Ivy-inaccessible parts now during the day.

There's an arcadia recording today and I also need to get some independent stuff done -- hopefully! I'm able to record today! And the programs don't fuck up!

Might take a nap after all that, I dunno.

Another frustrating morning -- sat down to do some administrative type work, including filling out my promise grant application for the fall semester. Signed in to the website to do that and got directed to id.me, and proceeded to spend like an hour trying to get it to verify my information with zero success before giving up and going back to the original page where I found in easy-to-miss text an 'opt out of id.me verification' link. Thank christ but also jesus fuck, what an ordeal. It warned me that doing so would potentially make my application take longer to process which, a. whatever, I do not care, and b. I literally got an email while in the middle of writing this post that my application was approved.

So that was my morning. Not enough sleep again and might take a nap later, but in the meantime I'm gonna chill and watch a couple youtubes, probably have lunch.

Apparently a spambot signed up to the forum a couple months ago and then just, didn't do anything but set their signature to a shady website? Hilariously they marked themself as being a minor so they'd get banned anyway, but I rendered their account inaccessible, stripped the shady url from their signature, and banned them

So in Other News my bank got ransomwared and almost all services have been suspended and no one knows when anything will be back up or how bad the damage is, and this is especially a problem because within two days my direct deposit is supposed to go through and unless things get fixed real fuckin fast it, uh, won't and I have no idea what I can do about that, like if it bounces will it get re-sent at some point or is it just gone or??? To say nothing of people got bills to pay, for fuck's sake, it's the beginning of the month

I guess if things aren't better by tomorrow morning I have to call the government? So that'll be fun
