Also nothing in the relay thread so I guess the current torch-bearer is going to just try to cram their translation into a couple days. Godspeed to them

I have decided to be the person to suggest not making one of the participants try to do the relay in a day

Relay runner has completely shot that down and is keeping current torchbearer at a December 21st deadline

There's a dril tweet for everything

There's also an xkcd for everything

It therefore follows that there's a dril tweet for every xkcd

I've got Stuff to say about all that ^ but the conlang forums have updated their security settings or something and now a bunch of people can't access them, including me. So that's cool, but it will probably be resolved soon since it seems like a lot of people are affected

Meanwhile, I slept in late and then played Promise Mascot Agency until the afternoon when ash and I hung out while he started dinner, and then started watching Wake Up Dead Man while dinner cooked. We also finished it while eating dinner. It was good! I didn't like it as much as Glass Onion but I liked it more than Knives Out -- I'm realising that while all of these are very good and very well made movies, they're each a very different kind of mystery story and so which ones you prefer will depend on the kinds of mystery stories you like. This one turns out to be less of a whodunnit and more an exercise in proving that the lead suspect didn't do it. There were less "ah!" moments in it for me and I found it less satisfying overall as a watch. But it was fun and I hope to see more in the series!

After that (and a few short youtubes to wrap up the evening), Dave and I played Smalland. There's been a christmas update featuring a quest where you find and deliver some presents Santa lost, so we did that and it was very fun. We then caught me up with him on the main questline stuff, and next week will probably work toward continuing that together. I also want to try fighting a bird again, see how we do now.

Next week I still have a couple christmas-related tasks to do, which will be fun because it's supposed to rain a lot I think. We have a flood warning for the area, for the coming week, so.

Now I'm going to play some more Promise Mascot Agency before I go to bed

Obviously "all that" is the conlang relay and not XKCdril tweets
