It actually -- I don't know how much you remember about (or knew about to begin with) Paranoia, but it's very Paranoia in tone and content. It's like you're one of the janitorial grunts that come in after the Troubleshooters have all gotten themselves killed, and clean up the resultant mess

I remember a good bit of Paranoia! I'd love to play it again sometime tbh

also this is making me realize Leon has very, like, "arrives after the main characters" energy

like if he were in an anime he would get to town slightly after the protagonists arrived and liberated or battled everyone, and just be annoyed and inconvenienced by it all

Went to church today! It was mildly eventful because someone had a seizure during the service, but there was a nurse with him and a doctor attending so he was alright (also, like, generally speaking seizures are scary to have happen but not actually life-threatening or anything. I am glad that he was fine and had support though). The person did get misgendered several times while the person leading the congregation let everyone know what was happening and that it was being taken care of, before that also got sorted out, which was a little yikes but also handled about as gracefully as it could have been

The choir director sang a song from Lord of the Rings, which was interesting. Otherwise, nothing of any particular note happened -- it was church. We did church things.

ash gave me a ride home, and when we got back I sat down to eat lunch and play a little video games. We had planned on going for a walk, or driving the dog down to the river and hang out there for a while, but ash was tired so it's been rainchecked to next week. It is hopefully not going to be crazy hot then, and also hopefully we have energy for that and also our game night which should be that same weekend

Since we aren't walking, I took my usual ten minute walk around the pool, and then came in to write this out and do more video games. I'm playing through danganronpa again, trying to max out everyone's friendship levels before the story kills them. It is not actually possible to do that in one run but I'm manipulating time to make it happen

Yesterday I did some digging around to find out how to make it be in Japanese and tried playing a little of it that way, translating it as I went. It was fun and I did manage it decently enough between knowing the gist of what the lines should say and the little amount I've learned -- but I decided not to continue like that, I'll try it again when I know a little more

Anyway, I'm going to go do that -- I need to befriend Hifumi and Celeste before they die, wish me luck
