I should walk some packages to the post office today (I had gifts I was bringing Masque and Greggo in person but since the trip got canceled I've got them ready to mail), but I'mma be honest, I may put it off until my next weekend. I'm still a bit low on spell slots and not super motivated to leave my apartment for much more than exercise and dog walks. I'll debate a litte longer on if I should indulge that desire for rest or push myself to get a productive thing done; for now I'm leaning towards being a hermit, though.

(I could also feasibly stop by the post office on my way to work one day, and now that I'm thinking of it may just do that)

and GOOD LORD did I forget how frustrating Nintendo consoles can be in terms of connecting to other things, I have never seen a device more difficult to get screenshots/images off of and that includes when you had to one-by-one upload your Xbox screenshots to a specific and badly-functioning OneDrive. I tried the send-it-to-your-phone thing and it didn't seem to work at all, and I just tried numerous USB cables to pull them off directly onto my computer and none of them seemed to work, so uhhhhh. I dunno, I'll try the phone thing again later maybe! If not maybe the USB cable I have at work is one of the ones my Switch won't snub its nose at, idk.

Anyways! Let me do some quick apartment tidying, mostly in the form of doing dishes, and then I'll doot around some more until I wanna break for exercise.

the justification I'm seeing re: Marvel's TV show they used AI artwork for in the opening sequence is driving me bananas because like,

okay cool they have infinity money and could've used it to pay a surrealist artist to make a very cool thing??? y'all out here acting like only AI generated artwork can be uncanny/surreal and I'm fucking sick of it

I hooked my switch up to a twitter account I made just to upload pictures to, which works pretty well aside from twitter becoming a trainwreck

The whole process is such a downgrade from the 3DS though, which had a browser built in so I could just email files to myself. Nintendo is such a backwards company sometimes

I'm definitely going through a brain phase of "what is even the point of working every single day" which is unfortunately sometimes, a thing, when you have to capitalism. I think I got most of the tantrums out of my system through a combination of a full night's sleep + reminding myself being full of tantrums is not super useful and makes me unfun to be around. Still a bit down and tired, and I definitely need a vacation, but we'll get there.

Okay, gonna set my thirty minute timer, do my writing, then play a bit of video games before I clean the apartment/exercise/etc etc etc. At least it's just a regular weekend and not a holiday weekend, so hopefully work is less chaotic than it has been.

to clarify, post room = room where the autopsies happen, she worked midnights so there weren't any bodies out but: it's a "red zone" that you're supposed to be in full PPE for, it's 100% a place that picture-taking is prohibited no matter what and there are signs up warning that, AND she took the selfies when she was supposed to be, you know, working
