I wanted to draw but I think I am Out of Brain so lemme go walk Baby Dog and then faceplant into some Stardew Valley for a few minutes before I go to bed for what will probably be a pretty painful Monday

As usual, I definitely should've taken an additional day off, but since I was more in my comfort zone and with people I knew I'm less exhausted than after Reaperscon, at least. I only have a four day work week so I'm just gonna tough it out and accept in advance that my upcoming weekend will likely need to be maximum hermit hours in order to rejuvenate some overspent spell slots.

lemme break out of my refresh feeds loop I've been stuck in for the past 30 minutes, refill my coffeedrank, and then I have a few chores/adulting tasks to take care of that I ignored over the weekend

at least once a week I try to take Baby Dog on a nice long walk at her pace, which is good for us both, but does mean sometimes she sniffs a bunch of dead leaves for like two minutes while I die on the inside

I made the executive decision not to worry about Routines Stuff (tm) until after my weekend, and it's been nice to take that breather! I am feeling the pricklings of eagerness to get back to my usual schedule, which is kinda what I wanted vs forcing it, so I'm calling the general rest period a success. Today I did some chores and am working on creative stuff, then tomorrow I'm gonna grab my hold from the library and some proper groceries, then it'll be the weekend. On my Monday equivalent (Sunday, in actuality) I'll be prepped to go back to early morning workouts, writing sprints, etc.

For now, though! I'mma work on my drawing some more and watch a yootoob

I had to call the VA pharmacy line to ask about an Rx because they sent me Super Vitamin D with directions to "take every 7 days" and I have never in my life taken a once-a-week pill so I was nervous it meant "take once a day for every 7 days" but I'm glad I called cuz, no, this Vitamin D is so chonk you only take it once a week
