This is a fucking nightmare, no voting guides or ballot info sites are even aware that there's a vote for district 5 committee seats, I can find no information on these people, how the fuck am I supposed to vote? Why isn't this in the voting guide???

I love living in California where absolutely anyone can put their name on a ballot, it really lightens up the tedious voting process to get to read the thoughts of some real weirdos while I'm going through everyone

I've done it! I've voted. And it just goes to show that you've really got to do your due diligence in researching candidates, because I spent a long while going through candidates for senator sure that I knew who I was voting for, and honestly wondering why I was bothering to continue going through all their websites, when at the last minute I found someone who is a way better fit for me.

I predict she doesn't get elected, though, which is a pity. Someone get us a better voting system, already, this one sucks so hard.

I'm also going completely rabid for this oh my gooodddd

My dream honestly is to be able to make a copy of an atari ST keyboard

I don't know if that's ever going to be completely possible but that case above gets decently close. Plus I've been in this hobby for five seconds and I'm already extremely tired of the super minimalist smooth detailless rectangles of keyboard cases

So boring. Give me fun, give me creative, give me unique, give me literally anything but the same rectangle everyone else has

Weirdly not tired considering how little sleep I got! I did spend the day pretty down anyway, lots of youtube and general internetting. Oh and started playing Exit 8, a 'find the anomolies' game about being stuck in a loop in a train station (or other general sort of public transit hub) hallway. It's extremely well done, very fun, I played with ash after we ate dinner and he also enjoyed it. It's four bucks on steam, highly recommend. It does do some horror tension and scares but not a whole lot? I don't think it's all that scary though there are definitely some moments. It's been in my library for ages and I kept seeing it in there and going 'I should play that' and then today the Game Grumps released a video of them playing it and I wanted to go in blind so, you know, I had to actually get around to playing it

Waiting impatiently for packages! Both keyboard package which is due to arrive Thursday though it's Amazon and not prime so almost definitely going to get pushed back, and I also bought a few keycaps and switches on a very nice discount that UPS is saying will arrive next week which is a little annoying because the shipping said it was 3-5 days. But yeah I'm excited for those! Will still need to get some tools, depending on what the keyboard comes with (sometimes they throw some cheap tools in for you), and some lube and applicators

There is that quiz tomorrow, so I do should go to bed early even if I'm not feeling particularly tired, but that'll still be a few hours off anyway. For now more youtube and video games
