I've removed Oz from the room and she is not thrilled about having to be in the front of the house

You remember how it's impossible to get my room to cool off overnight

Not looking forward to that

It would be really nice if using the internet wasn't a complete nightmare of fighting websites that just don't work

Today had a very reasonable high of like 95, and some parts of the city even got rain. Chance of more rain tomorrow, and "cooler" (94-97) temperatures until Friday when it's supposed to get back into the 100s over the weekend. So, deciding if I should rotate my sleep back into a normal pattern and then shift again at the end of the week, or just keep at it until the dip is forecasted to last longer than this. As mentioned staying up all night and sleeping through the day is not super great for my brain function, but I don't know if swapping back and forth will be any better. And it is nice to get the watering done in the morning -- though it would be less so if it were actually cold.

The weather is also unfortunate in that next weekend ash and I plan on going to the state fair, so it's annoying to miss this cooler window for that. But better than 110+. And who knows, maybe the forecast will change

Classes start in roughly a month and a half, so I should start reviewing last semester's stuff so I can be ready for the intermediate class. In the more immediate, I need to clean out litterboxes tonight and write up the chore list. Oh and arcadia recordings

I am very tired so probably I will asleep at a reasonable hour and be awake during the day tomorrow.

Did stay up until morning, got watering and walk done, and also got sprinkled on! It was a lovely morning and mostly a lovely day, though I woke up at about 11 when the pool pump turned on because I'd left my door open. And then I couldn't fall back asleep until like, two or three, no matter how hard I tried. I did get some reading done, including a dive back into conlanging, and I'm working on trying to get the Link's Awakening translation project back off the ground

Woke back up again about five thirty at which point it had gotten hot outside again, went out to the living room to hang out with ash until dinner, and then we watched some stuff and ate dinner and played some video games -- we technically made progress on Resident Evil and then lost it again because Chris got et by a shark. But we'll try again Tuesday and hopefully! Do better!

Lots of recordings this week, and on Wednesday Erika, Dave, and I will play more PlateUp! As for tonight I am trying really really hard to get data transfer to work between my switch and my computer and am not having very much luck, but I'd really, really like to not have to fiddle with the smartphone transfer (or, ugh, upload them all to twitter) to get screencaps for aforementioned Link's Awakening project. And more Breath of the Wild, and more listening to stuff

???? I have no idea how or why it's started working, but it has! Which is great because the methods I was trying (booting a windows vm to try to get that to talk to the switch) was consistently eating all of my ram and rendering my computer completely unresponsive for half an hour until the vm crashed. But! I can take all the screenshots I want now without having to worry about having to copy them over in tedious batches

Now. I've been mulling over changing some things in teket because what I currently have just isn't doing it for me, and this is a problem because one of them is that I want to change the inalienable possession marker -- which is currently being used in the title I came up with for Link's Awakening. So I need to do that and then redo the title image

I'm also going to change the number system and potentially change how many gods there are in the main pantheon but those are less relevant to the translation project
