Still staying up late and waking up later, though today that resulted in less than the optimal amount of sleep, which is convenient because we're recording tomorrow afternoon so now I can go to bed a bit earlier and be awake in time for that.

Watched a Dragula, I'm almost done with the third season and I've been enjoying it, it feels like they've more-or-less found their formula. My favourite contestant just got eliminated, which is sad but extremely expected, and there's a contestant who's been doing so phenomenally well that it's basically a given that they're going to win, no matter how much the editing is trying to convince me otherwise (though there is a, unique aspect to that person that will make it somewhat surprising for them to be the face of Dragula for a while)

ash and I watched the new dropout show, I think it's called Monet's Slumber Party, while we ate dinner -- it was interesting, I'm not sold on the pilot but it has room to grow and I think I'll give it another couple episodes. Then a 10 Minute Power Hour, and then we played Resident Evil during which I made a lot of progress and got crushed by a boulder, so we'll have to redo all of it tomorrow.

Played some Stardew Valley -- alone, Dave is unpacking and settling into his new place, so did not have time or energy to join me, but last night I started a new solo beach farm so I've been using that to just chill out and fish when I want something mindless. So I played that for a couple hours, and then I got up and cleaned my counter/sink/mirrors -- they'd gotten pretty bad but now they're basically spotless and clutter-less. I also scooped the litterboxes, so that's my chores for the day. I'm going to read some more of my genki textbook -- I am working my way through reviewing what got covered in the spring class before the fall class starts next month -- and then I'll zone out to some stardew again until bed.

Sigh. Had to put Cael on time out in the bathroom for the first time in ages. I don't want to leave him in there for actual hours, so I'm going to have to be up for a while.

Alarm woke me up and then I rested my eyes for "just a few more minutes", at which point it was five minutes to recording time, so that was exciting. Warned chat that I would be a few minutes late, got everything ready, fought my microphone for another three minutes, and then we all jumped into recording and got it done. It went well but now I need a breakfast

I think my eye was trying to do the irritation thing again, it's a little pink and very watery but not sensitive to light or painful to have open or anything, probably a crustie got in it after I woke up and before I "rested" them so it didn't have a chance to fully cause a problem. Annoying but will likely clear up soon

So yeah, breakfast and then pilling the cat and then I want to jump in the shower. It's very hot today.

Don't have the spoons to jump in the shower, actually, so I just trimmed my moustache and washed my face. Did a little Japanese study and now I'm going to zone out for a while

Tonight's chore was cleaning off my shelf in the pantry -- threw away some very expired stuff, wiped the shelf itself down, put everything on it in a more neat fashion. There's something sticky on one of the walls but I cleaned that to 'good enough' and I'll get back to it another day

Also finished Learn Japanese RPG Hiragana Forbidden Speech! It was good and I highly recommend it but I don't think anyone reading this has any interest in learning Japanese, so that's not going to be relevant to y'all.

Gonna eat some more dinner, play some more video game, watch some more youtube, and then pass out.
