I lost my ring Friday night, and (found it Saturday morning, but) part of looking for it involved squat-walking through the house to see if a cat had knocked it somewhere; consequently, and on top of other walking activities these past few days, my legs are Dead today

I'm sorry I didn't help you look for it! I think it was lost and found again between my going to sleep and waking up, though.

I'm really glad you found it. I didn't want to freak out in the middle of the night when I couldn't do anything about it, but there were sad feelings.

I've put off paying one of my bills long enough it's gone to a debt collector so that's cool, and also it's time once again for the government to decide if I've magically become not-disabled since the last time they asked. Mildly optimistic about that last one because they appear to have redone the paperwork on that in a way that is much less invasive, but still fully expect them to make me go see one of their doctors

Jumped in the shower and while I was in there heard a sound that reminded me of dad coming into my room to yell at me, so that's also cool and brain is in an awesome space now

Video chat date with Sor yesterday! Was fun, we watched the third season of Infinity Train, which is where the series moved from Cartoon Network to HBO Max and probably-not-coincidentally ramped up the death and -- not "horror" per se, but you know, "oh my god that just happened?" sort of content. Very heavy themes in that season

We'll probably knock out the fourth season during our next date in a couple weeks and then, we'll, be out of Infinity Train. :(

We'll have to find something else to watch, besides Taskmaster

 
Finally got around to migrating my mojang account into a microsoft account, which was the process I needed to do to regain access to that account in the first place, and which they wouldn't let me do until a month or so ago. I had been hoping doing that would give me access to the old Snowtown world save file from, uh, 2015 or something like that, as the site did say I would get to keep my save files, but once I'd gone through that process -- and the process of recovering my password manager password, because I'd changed it and then forgotten what I'd changed it to, and that was its own whole thing -- I discovered that I did not, in fact, have access to that save file anyway. But I did get my old Herbert West skin back, so if I want to switch to that from the forest cryptid skin I've been using I can do that.

I knew I had emailed the save to myself at some point, though, so I just needed to find it. I had tried and failed to do so, but gave it another shot last night and lo and behold it came up pretty much immediately. So I popped that in and wandered around Snowtown a little bit and then went back to digging my spiral staircase tunnels in my other save for a few hours.

 
While doing that I watched some old Buzzfeed Unsolveds. Got to the voodoo one and boy it sure is great that the experts they consulted for the episode were a couple of white people. Not surprised that the sort of people they'd attract with their show in New Orleans are some grifters into spooking tourists, though. Probably not a whole lot of actual practitioners there who want to talk to a youtube channel about ghosts about their religious beliefs, again, especially in New Orleans. But it would have been nice, and the episode was pretty frustrating. Especially when in the follow-up episode they talked about how great one of the people was

 
I had basically fixed my sleep schedule but then did the above until 6 AM instead of sleeping, so woops. I'll try to be better tonight.

I think the problem is less that I'm tired and more that I don't feel like there's anything worth being awake for, especially when the alternative is spending time curled up with my cat

But also I'm tired

Like, the list of reasons to be awake is tasks I need to do. That's not actually super motivating, as it turns out
