I swear like half the reason I decided I didn't wanna do group creative projects anymore is I have become the sort of impatient person who treats pissant attitudes or difficult artists by blasting the person with my laser beam eyes

"it's not going to be for everyone" is valid if someone who hates westerns does not like your western, not so much for several people asking for content warnings in a project that has established history of providing content warnings to its audience

anyway that's my vagueposting for the day, tl;dr it's okay to have your feathers ruffled by someone's reaction to a thing you made but it's not okay to outright dismiss people from your sight like court jesters who have displeased the king

I lied one more vaguepost

Pathologizing a fictional character is not a crime stop using therapy buzzwords for people who are not real because you're throwing a creative tantrum

Friday equivalent!

I actually had yesterday off for a doctor's appointment --

-- and when I got home I was in a mood to be social but unfortunately the people I usually reach out to were busy, which is obviously fine but made me a little melancholy so I decided to play Elden Ring about it. I beat up the Sol Castle boss (by which I mean the two players I summoned beat up the Sol Castle boss) and got the other half of the Haligtree medallion, so I'm in the path to the Haligtree right now. I may play some more this evening after work if I have enough brain to stay awake; sometimes I do, sometimes I don't.

Okay gonna finish eating my breakfast, doot around a little more, exercise, and then go to work.

Given how for most of that time period I had two dogs, one of whom for 3+ yrs eats specialty prescription kibble that is $40 a 6 lb bag, I'm not entirely sure that number is as impressive as you think it is, chewy dot com

It costs about $300 to cover Baby Dog for annual shots and flea/tick/heartworm prevention so it's pretty bold to act like saving that amount over five years is supposed to warm my heart

With the above adding to my general level of tired, I spent a chunk of the morning disassociating at my desk and being angry at internet people before I managed to walk to the gersopusdfdj JESUS WEPT my phone is ringing and scared me

ahem, it was FedEx, with a package for me that I think is just Baby Dog's chewy package so I'll get that in a minute

anyway!

I walked to the grocery store to grab a few things, then came back and played Grounded for a bit until Baby Dog started getting restless for afternoon walkies. I walked her to the library and back to drop off a book and decided that was probably going to be our mutual exercise for the day, and not long after that I laid down for a nap. I just woke up from that, tidied up the apartment and did dishes, and now I'm getting ready for D&D (which is early today to accommodate someone's travel plans, and I think will probably be a short session). Tomorrow I have a VA appointment early in the morning and then some errands to run, so I'm just gonna be a slug today.
