I have turned out to have basically no spoons for video games

Two days ago, Oz woke me up at 6, yesterday she woke me up at 8, last night I was up Extremely Late (early) of my own volition, things are, meh.

Last night I started a new ESO character -- messing around with a necromancer argonian -- and I'm having fun but I tried syncing all my settings between my two characters and proceeded (of course) to fuck Everything up, and I'm super annoyed about it. Genuinely I don't know why it doesn't make most settings account-wide, or sync them by default, like if I need subtitles on one character I probably need them on all characters, right. But for some reason you need mods to do that and of course they don't actually work.

So A, I managed to delete my azurah (UI customisation) settings, which was extremely upsetting, and B, somehow something managed to fuck the settings up in the new character so badly that the game is kind of broken, so now I need to go through all the mods and turn them off and back on again and see if that fixes it, and also I need to go through all of them one-by-one and copy all of my settings between the two characters

So yeah, annoyed.

Okay, I think I've got things more or less how I want them, or at least good enough for now, and I've also made myself a delicious lunch

Thankfully I do basically no changes in mod settings, unfortunately that means I need to sift through everything for the ones that do matter

There's some kind of event going on in ESO that's got people doing dungeons and world bosses, which is really useful for me because I'm farming for a couple of armor sets and that's a good way to get them, is killing bosses, and also it's extremely funny watching huge groups of people just kick Some Guy's ass over and over again, but on the other hand it really makes me grateful that ESO is a dead game that no one plays because competing with so many people for things is annoying

Like sometimes I want to actually fight a boss instead of descending on it like a swarm of locusts

It is nice to be getting some experiences in game again that I haven't really seen since launch, like big groups of people just goofing off and hanging out, and crowds of people fishing together

There is a mechanic with fishing where the more people fishing at a spot, the higher the chances of getting rarer/more valuable fish, and Way Back When you'd get people inviting everyone in a zone to come fish, but as far as I can tell the mechanic doesn't actually get very much use at all anymore

Second day of class done, as is the homework (write out the basic hiragana 10 times each, upload a picture the professor can use to identify you in zoom/canvas), still need to read a chunk of the textbook before wednesday's class. Today we went through some basic greetings &c and some numbers, and at a couple points got split up into breakout rooms to do some practice exercises. On my second group assignment we were split off into pairs, and the person I was split off with was attending from the cafeteria on his phone and was barely audible, so that was fun. Also got into a, very minor disagreement with the professor about how page numbers work in a PDF, which was also fun.

Oz has barely eaten today and of course I'm worried about her. We're also almost a month into eating raw and she hasn't gained any weight despite actually eating, which has me very worried but is good data. ash is going to schedule a vet appointment tomorrow for her and hopefully the vet will have something more useful to say and do about all this than nothing.

I'd planned on finishing out these meals and then seeing if she'd be willing to eat kibble again, and get a vet appointment for her then, but we're moving things up a bit.

Anyway, I myself need to eat some lunch, so I'm going to do that.

Oh also in somewhat distressing news, the professor went through several people's flashcard submissions in zoom, in front of the entire class, with instructions to say something if we see something wrong with them, and while the professor called out people who submitted them incorrectly

She did not get through everyone's but clearly intended to when she started and like, pretty uncomfortable to not know that was going to happen with our assignments!

The focus ended up mostly being 'what did you use to make the file correctly and would you recommend it' and 'you see how you have uploaded two files, which is contrary to the instructions given? Can you not do that again?' She did not dock points for that, so that's good, but man.
