You will be unsurprised to learn this game is full of bugs and almost impossible to play

A lot going on in this call I just had with dad

-Landlord is renovating/fixing a bunch of stuff in the house which is liable to mean either rent hike or eviction or both
-Dad gave a bunch of my stuff to Goodwill, possibly including all the home movies, and who knows what else was in those boxes, and also who knows if he's going to do that again or indeed has already done it with other things
-Mom has had surgery twice that I didn't know of, once to have a pain relief thing put in and once to take it out

I do very badly with people messing with my things, let alone getting rid of them. It really messes me up

He could have said, hey, if you don't come get these things I'm taking them to goodwill. He could have put them in the living room, or the garage. He could have done any number of things that weren't just carting them off and giving them away without notice, regardless of how long it's been since I should have taken them back

The thing is that whatever it is I'm working on, it's never the right thing. He tells me he wants me to clear out the bedroom, so I work on clearing out the bedroom, but then he's upset that I wasn't clearing out the office.

So they're gone, now, and I'll never know exactly what's missing. They're just things, they don't really matter, but it's unsafe feeling, not having control over your property. People being able to just take things and give them away. Makes a guy feel real insecure.

I'll be dealing with this one for a while, mentally.

Twice now I've picked Elden Ring back up after not playing it for a while and both times it's been just, incredibly easy to get back into. I haven't needed to ease myself back into it at all

This was day three with a mild but persistent migraine. I hope very much to wake up without a headache tomorrow
