So I did open up my homework and write my name and class number on it and then I opened the textbook to the chapter I'll need to reference to do it, and then I promptly zoned out for three hours.
The weather is getting to me right now, we're supposed to have a storm tomorrow and it's been chilly the past couple days and gloomy today, so. I also need to get to the store and get Cael some more food, but he should last until Saturday and it's supposed to be nice and sunny then, too. We do have a fair amount to get done this weekend, but I should hopefully be able to manage that.
Will look at homework again later, for now going to continue zonking.
I'm going through all my unplayed games in steam and today one of them has been ZanZarah: The Hidden Portal, which has turned out to be, uh, pokemon but with fairies? I have chosen from three fairies and am using my fairy to fight other fairies (and other people with fairies) and my fairy is levelling up and I can catch more fairies with spheres and then keep them in a pixie bag-
The controls are Fucking Garbage on a controller (it came out in 2002, so, like, fair) so I'll need to try playing it with a keyboard and mouse, but I am Intrigued. It does not look like pokemon but, like. It's not subtle.
I also started doing physical therapy/exercising again as of a few nights ago and that's also wiping me out
I've also Finally started playing Wolf Among Us and it's making me want to reread Fable

ow the pain
"I don't think Marie Curie is as well-known as you guys are making her out to be."
Took the test today (20/20) and just read the non-practice parts of the current chapter of the textbook, but otherwise I have been playing video games all day. I did finish a playthrough of Wolf Among Us -- it is good, has very good writing, the ending drags a bit and I don't know how well multiple plays will hold up with it
Still need to do the homework this weekend but it's short and shouldn't be difficult -- two pages, one of which is filling out a chart of adjective conjugations. It is unfortunately a pretty full weekend even without that, but I should be able to squeeze it in.
Early night, probably
I have stored, I have showered, I have shaved just my neck and not my head because I was a little worried my clippers would run out of juice partway through so they're getting charged. ash and I watched Damsel (2024) which was honestly very bad and not at all what we were expecting going in -- it's a very straightforward 'girl gets sacrificed to dragon, has to save herself' sort of story, and we had somehow got the impression there was some kind of cult of previously-sacrificed women living in the caves that would adopt her and that there would be some kind of twist about the dragon. The dialogue was bad (trying way too hard to be period without knowing what period actually sounds like), the acting and effects were alright, the plot was very meh, the dragon was really obviously concept-arted by someone who wants to fuck dragons, and the credits rolled over a moody cover of Ring of Fire at which point ash and I lost it.
We are going to the Reptile Show tomorrow! ash was going to get frogs this time but has put it off again due to health stuff and suchlike. So we're just going to wander around and look at stuff
Homework tonight, and I want to read more Inform documentation. Other than that, not much planned
