How are you liking the new Stardew content from the latest patch? I have it on my list of things to poke at but probably won't get around to it, for a while.

Fortunately my eyes were itchy before we started playing Stardew, so it wasn't that. Maybe it was Drawfee?

I haven't noticed a whole lot of the new content, but I haven't been looking for it, I've just been doing my usual grind. So it's still the same ol' Stardew, which I appreciate. We've gotten a couple of new events, I found a skill book just yesterday, and of course the drinkable mayonnaise. Probably there've been some new items like clothes or weapons. I think if someone's looking for like, a wildly new experience because they've played the pre-patch game to death and basically want Stardew Valley 2 it's not going to do it for them but if you just want Stardew Valley and to go "oh neat" or "hey what's that" occasionally then it's good!

Let myself go back to sleep today, which was nice, especially the part where I wasn't asleep yet and just lay in bed not doing anything.

I had ash reschedule Oz's vet appointment because I want to see if she's going to continue eating this new food -- I don't want to take her to the vet and be like 'I found this food that she'll eat and she's doing okay on it so far' and then like the day after she stops eating again. Fingers crossed and touch wood, she continues eating. Sor and I have also rainchecked our Dungeon Meshi date for today because they have to take people to the airport, so my week is now free aside from dad's on Friday, which is nice

My Japan 401 grade has been submitted, and it looks like my gpa doesn't carry over between colleges within the whole, college... system? District? My ARC GPA appears to be distinct from my SCC GPA, despite both being Los Rios colleges that share a lot of stuff between them. So my GPA at SCC right now is a 4.0 (and my GPA at ARC is, not.) I also messed around with their degree planner a bit but it's, lacking, so. It does seem that Japan 411 is only offered in the fall, so I'll have to wait a year to take it after 402. I can take Intro to Linguistics in spring, though.

My focus for a bit is going to be getting a wake up and go to bed routine set, and then I can start adding things into that schedule as I get used to them. So aside from getting ready for bed at 1, I'm not stressing and will take the day as it comes.

So all our sinks are full of dirty, sulphur-smelling water and water is seeping between the laundry room floorboards when you step on them, and that's our morning. We've informed the property managers, but I'll note that they previously left us almost a month with only one working toilet, and that was when the landlords were still responding to maintenance requests

They are intermittently flooding, so we only periodically don't have sinks, but I'll also note that sulphur smell in water usually means bacteria, so they'll need a good cleaning before using them, and that's, inconvenient when they keep refilling with the contaminated water.

Anyway! Hopefully we get a plumber out here sooner rather than later, and hopefully the solution isn't deemed to be 'cutting down the tree that keeps sticking its roots through our pipes', because that's probably the cherry tree, or possibly all the trees on the property if they want to get thorough about it. We should have been putting root killer in our pipes since the toilet thing, but it's hard to remember to prevent something you can't see happening. Speaking of that, we need to figure out how to clean out the HVAC and get a screen over the top of it to keep cherry pits &c from falling into it, because I haven't been able to figure it out and it's probably going to break it at some point.

I'm going to go eat breakfast

Property managers think it's a clog somewhere in the city pipes and have notified them, city said they'll be here within two hours, property managers will send a second plumber after if needed
