Thinkin' about the trailer for The Mummy (2017) again
For any of today's lucky 10,000 learning about this for the first time, that is really actually and truly what the trailer was like when it was originally uploaded to the internet
ash and I should watch that The Mummy, I bet it would really annoy him

God I'd like to just go back to sleep
I've been wanting to get back to translating Stardew Valley into Teket Lau, but haven't been sure if the big ol' 1.6 patch changed the process for that (and even if it didn't, it definitely added lines to be translated, so I would need to go through the process of extracting all the text again, anyway). A couple nights ago I decided it's been long enough that if anything is different there should be new or updated tutorials, so I went looking -- and discovered that someone has made a program to automate all the fiddly programmatical parts of the process!
Unfortunately I couldn't get the program to work!
I did submit a bug report on the github for it and the programmer responded almost immediately (I believe, and they seem to agree, that the program is looking for an .exe in the installation folder that doesn't exist for linux systems, and just needs to be updated to look for the file that linux systems have instead -- they're going to try replicating my setup to get it working, which is cool of them). But I have to wait for whatever fix comes, if any.
I am excited and eager to mess with it and keep checking the github for updates even though I'll get an email if anything does.
Part of The Point of learning another language is to make me a better conlanger and I'm excited to start implementing things I'm learning from Japanese into Teket
Not like, shoving Japanese mechanics into the language but like, learning a non-germanic non-romance language has opened my mind to some things languages can do in a more concrete way than just learning about those things in the abstract, and I'm ready to Make Teket Weirder
