Alright! The program got updated and it runs on my computer! I think I'm still going to do all the actual translation work outside of that program (in visualstudio perhaps, or just a text file) but I should be able to use it to like, compile everything into a mod to make it all display in someone's game. Now I just need to decide where to start -- before I was working on translating Abigail's dialogue, but I decided that I want to start with not one of the main NPCs, like one of the TV channels or something, because it'll be easier to start with something that'll be in like a neutral register

I also need to figure out if I can and if I'll want to make a custom font so that it displays in the actual Teket script. Probably not, but maybe?

Watched Dungeon Meshi (and Dungeon Meshi) with Sor yesterday and had enough time after (and after we just chatted for a while) to go hang out with ash during dinner and before bed, and today he and I watched the new Dungeon Meshi, and I know where the season is going to end now and Oh My God. Aside from that I largely spent today playing Hiragana Forbidden Speech and also just zoning out. Tomorrow I'm going to try going to the store, see if the memorial weekend sale has started yet. This weekend is Oz vet appointment, hanging out with Dave and Erika, and an Arcadia recording.

Tonight I am tired and going to go to bed early, and also there's a new Knowledge Fight so I'm gonna listen to that while I get ready and wind down.

Alright, groceries got and put away (mostly) and I've sat around for a bit. There's another good sale on soda, so I stocked up on that and ash may or may not get more for me when he goes shopping. If any of the sodas in the new cases spring leaks (as has been happening), I'm going to stop getting Mountain Dew (or Pepsi products in general), so I'm also going to get some seltzers to try and see if those could maybe be my treat drink. Those are on the same Limit 1 sale, though, so I'm going to tag along with ash when he shops this weekend to grab 'em.

Got those, got Cael food, got quesadilla ingredients and a couple ice creams (butterfinger!! ice cream!!! And stuff for root beer floats). I should oughta eat a real lunch but I'm gonna sit here for a minute longer

I did not check if they had honey mustard pringles, but Sor tells me they exist again and in non-walmart stores, so I should look when I'm there again. Everything's coming up mek!

One of my joys in life is to drink a soda while or just after eating ice cream; it makes my tummy all fizzy

Cael woke me up at about 5 again, and kept me up for a while with both zoomies and yelling

Oz has had her vet appointment! We're going to keep an eye on her eating, make sure she doesn't show any signs of reacting badly to the food, but so long as she's eating that's good. She's gained weight since January which is extra good because she'd lost weight between that appointment and now (but is still, in my opinion, lower than her ideal weight). Her teeth look good, her heart is good. She had a limp last night that we're going to keep an eye on but she has full range of motion, no clicking, no swelling, let the vet mess with her joints without complaint (though, as I mentioned to the vet, when she broke her tooth I'd have had no way of knowing without actually seeing it -- she is very good at hiding her pain). I also finally remembered to ask about her claws -- she stopped shedding her thumb claw sheaths a while back and I've been worried it's bothering her. I trim those myself when they're getting too long but if there was a way to like, help her shed them then I'd prefer that. But the vet says that just happens with older cats and you just keep them trimmed, so. They did a full nail trim on her for me, so she will stop catching her claws on things for a while.

So yeah, her bloodwork is at the lab and I'll find out if she needs her meds adjusted again (I expect so, since she's eating now). That took all of my saved up credit and my birthday money, but I at least was able to pay for it. Fingers crossed and touch wood she doesn't need another vet appointment for a while

Hung out in the yard for a while (it was gloomy and overcast this morning but cleared up to a beautiful, sunny, breezy day by the afternoon) and my eyes are So Goddamn Itchy

All things told I'm running on a little bit of a sleep deficit and I need to get up early again tomorrow to do that second round of shopping, so I definitely need to get into bed early tonight. But after shopping and then after arcadia I am playing video games with Erika and Dave!

Oz has been sleepin' all day, I imagine comedown from a very stressful experience. She seems a little grumpy but I'm sure she'll be fine by tomorrow

There's an almost-three-hour-long video essay I wanted to watch with ash, so we started that during dinner and now we've got about fifteen minutes left of it to get through tomorrow. Also read some more Sideshow to him while he made dinner, and we did some more experiments on trying to keep the squirrels away from the birdfeeder. Been a pretty low-key day, my arms still hurt and as mentioned I'm tired.

I need to knock out my daily games and then I'm gonna chill until bed. Oh, I should work on art prompt, I haven't had time to do that yet and I also won't have time tomorrow. Yeah, I'll try that
