I don't think the answer, a lot of the time, is going to be super interesting, but it is neat to think about in terms of how different a lot of long-time characters will end up being from Point A to Point B

D&D's been on hold for a bit (our DM moved to another state and is getting settled in, extremely fair) and, to be a bit whiny, every time I've tried to do text roleplay with someone it has ended up with me being the only one posting, and goddamnit I crave that specific brand of collaborative storytelling

I used to be a "I refuse to give up on a book, I finish everything I read"-er until I realized life is short and full of incredible books I'll never have time to read, so why waste my time on a miserable experience, and now when I hear people say they refuse to give up on a book I'm like nooooo

(to be clear everyone should read however you want and brains will brain, but for me, realizing I can just stop reading a book like turning off an annoying TV show was a good choice)
