Today! I woke up, took a shower, emptied the dishwasher, helped get the fridge ready to be replaced (emptied it of my food, wiped it all down, and scrubbed the vegetable drawer), hung out with ash while he made dinner, ate dinner, watched a couple youtubes, played resident evil (we are finally past the shark, and have taken care of the giant beehive/waspsnest), and then played stardew with Dave. We have gotten the coop upgrade and a rabbit, and he's dating Abigail now. We're after the next house upgrade and finishing off the bundles and then who knows!
Gonna play some more breath of the wild and listen to some more stuff, but I really do need to go to bed at a reasonable hour tonight so I can be up for arcadia at 1 tomorrow, then knock out the outros I still need to do for episode 80 and then at some point Erika, Dave and I should be doing video games together.
I have been working through the korok seeds in BotW, but there are 900 of them and you only need like 400-something to fully upgrade your inventory, and then they're useless except that if you get all 900 then a character gives you a present which is literally a pile of shit. I, don't know if I'll go for that. I do like to completionist things but if there's no point then, like. Might just not bother
Like 900 is a lot. You know?
Like this is all of the seeds I have left to find, give or take:

I'll finish upgrading my stuff (just have four shield slot upgrades to go) and then see how I feel about continuing that. I'm also working on the rest of the sidequests and finding the shrines
Meanwhile for teket I have decided to switch their number system to base eight, with some weirdness around 16 (like how we have "twelve" instead of "twoteen") (possibly I will make some dialect base sixteen) ((the idea is that they have four main toes on each foot instead of five, so when counting digits it's reasonable for them to base their counting system on sets of 8 (fingers), 10 (fingers and thumbs), 16 (fingers and toes), or 18 (fingers, thumbs, and toes) -- I am still waffling a little and may change my mind on going with 8; 16 and 18 just seem like such large sets when you're not an agriculture-based society (so no like, harvests to count or anything))). I've also decided on a different inalienable possession term ("na", with very little etymological justification (but not none) and a lot of "I just like it").
I need to decide on how numerals are ordered in noun phrases ("six dogs" or "dogs six"? Or neither?), as far as I've been able to tell there's not a lot of correlation in how languages do that compared to how they order other things in the language (like adjectives) so I really need to just pick one and go with it but it's always hardest to decide things based on nothing at all.
I also haven't decided on if I'm changing the pantheon -- I'm mulling over making it all less concrete and having different family groups believe in a different set of gods, but since gods have a grammatical class that muddies the waters there a bit (like if water is a god, then the word 'water' has evidence of it being part of the holy class and grammatically behaves differently than if it weren't a god. I am fine with which class a word belongs to being up to interpretation, that already happens with adpositions, but that the word contains the marker within itself is trickier (all of the "god" words have "sal" somewhere in them, because "sal" means "holy"), both because it makes it harder to justify the entity not being a god and because it makes it harder to justify making other words holy when they don't contain that marker. I could figure out some rules for holy-ifying terms so that there's a holy version of the noun and a mundane version, and you just use the holy version when you're referring to the god, but I don't really like that solution. I dunno, I'll keep chewing on it
And I need to update my various documents with the various changes I've made
But for tonight, video games, bed early.
