Slowly transitioning towards back-to-work mode (including starting the fight of "how do I get county government to acknowledge my questions about how to properly return to work after FMLA" which is, always exhausting). I have about ten more days, ideally, before I'm back to business as usual. Sophie is apparently coming on the 15th with friends to pack her things, still -- I messaged her asking about timeline/ETA and she gave a vague "I'll ask my friends about it tonight," which is alarming, because it's uh. the 13th???

She also took that moment to announce she has movers scheduled on March 7th and boy wouldn't it have been nice to know that when she fucking scheduled it! Thankfully I already have that day off, since my weekends by then will be Fri/Sat, but if that wasn't the case I genuinely don't know what I'd do. I am not allowing movers into my home while I'm not there????? why would you not tell the person who lives in the home when strangers are coming to remove things from it?????

Anyways, I'm healing well and have what should be my final follow-up with the surgeon for a while on the 17th. I'm extremely happy with the results, as I've said a few times, but it's still very true!!!

I started playing Rogue Trader, as alluded to in the above posts, and boyyyy it has its hooks in. I am indulging in some video game binging because I normally cannot do such a thing, and it's been really fun! I made a noble officer with a tortured background because, have you met me, and my favorite companion is the Tech-Priest Pasqal. Unfortunately you cannot smooch him, because he is not romanceable, and I won't even get into the rant of the romance in that game (it's Warhammer so like, I'm not surprised, but still so exhausting that the literal only MLM romance option is with a super chaotic evil BDSM kink alien -- obviously that's a fine choice if given in a spectrum of choices, but again, literal only option, definitely some straight white dude ew-men-smooching going on there). I'll try to post some screenshots from the game soon!

okay I promised myself I would stop binging bliddy james tonight and work on some art, so lemme get situated and that's what I shall do
