Re: Promiseland
I also need to record the Arcadia final credits, and yesterday we got our annual inspection notice so we all need to get the house ship shape for that

Today my sternum is out of joint, so that's fun.
That show was so influential on my writing honestly
*spittakes*
We've got a full moon with light cloud cover passing over it, it's so spooky
Just scheduled a covid and flu vaccine appointment, so I'll be doing that when I wake up. I picked a pharmacy that's in the same shopping center as a Daiso so I'm going to go check that out while I'm over there
Saw a lizard today #blessed
A nice little outing! Got to ride one of the new light rail trains on the way to Target -- I am not super impressed but like, they're fine. Once at Target I wandered around until it was closer to my appointment time/there were fewer people waiting at the pharmacy, and then I got checked in, shot, and let go in like ten minutes. Got both the flu and the covid shots, and they gave me a coupon for getting the flu shot there, but I didn't feel like spending the money to use it, so eh. They did not give me the 'hang around the store for fifteen minutes' so I left immediately and went across the parking lot to hang out in the Daiso
It was neat! A lot of neat things there, and good prices from what I saw. I decided to get something to eat while I was there, so I got a grape ramu, a maple wheat bun, himemaru (flavoured rice crackers), and yakisoba crispy noodle snack, and also sent a few pictures of stuffed animals and miniature things to ash. I was going to hang out in the shopping center for a bit to eat and rest for a bit before getting back on the train, but I didn't feel comfortable doing so so I just headed back home to eat there.
Everywhere was surprisingly busy (but not, like, crowded busy) for 3 o'clock on a Monday, I wonder if this is part of the 'new normal' with more people working from home (and more people being unemployed)?
Anyway, train back and I got an old car, so I do have a direct comparison to make with them and the old cars are just better laid out in pretty much every way. Oh well.
On the way back home I got to chat a little with a couple people in the neighbourhood, one of them being a guy who has an amazing front yard that I always admire every time I walk by, and he happened to be working in said yard today so I told him so. The other is an old lady who lives on the corner near us, and she also has a nice yard with some flowerbeds on the sidewalk so I told her I always admire those when I'm walking by. She complained a little about not being able to care for them as much anymore since she "got gimped up", but did also thank me. And then I was home and sat down to watch youtube and eat my snacks.
Today I need to:
-Record Arcadia credits
-Finish getting the dresser ready to move and try moving it
-Laundry
Ideally I will also read ahead for class tomorrow, but if not I can do that tomorrow before said class.
I've got firefox open in class again today so I can ask the teacher about my grade, so expect liveblogged shenanigans for the next couple hours
"[student], number 3 please"
"I'm just flipping to it"
"She is taking a picture"
"Oh it's that page?"
