Just put the stress on the first syllable and pronounce the 'ti' as 'ch' and you're good.

I have woken up to Oz throwing up into my slipper, which I suppose is better than being surprised by it later. Going to need to throw those in the wash

I've also learned my moccasins shrunk when I washed them so now they don't fit

Also also it's already 82 and only 10 AM

So I woke up to that ^ at like 9:30, and at that point it was already hot in my room so I opened my door for a while to let the cooler house air circulate in. Erik was up shortly after that and listening to things, so I couldn't go back to sleep for a while, so I just listened to a podcast and played ESO until Cael came back in to get his breakfast, at which point I closed back up and settled in to get more sleep. This was like 11-something, I think.

I was up earlier than that for a bit, at like 6:30 I think, where I asked ash if he'd pick up catfood for me because I wasn't sure if I would still have a migraine when I woke up -- even now I'm not totally clear of it. Turned out to be a good call either way though with the heat, it got up to at least 108.

Of course the cats bothered each other for a while and kept me from going to sleep, so I eventually kicked Cael back out, closed back up, and went to sleep. Woke up to my alarm at about 4, did a bit of internetting and a bit of ESO while waiting for ash to get home from work, then hung out with him for a bit before an appointment he had. More ESO until he was done with that, then we ate dinner and I set up the steamdeck for us to watch Steven Universe on it. After a few episodes of that I tried to start us on the Claire run of RE2 but we discovered that the health cheat I had been using is exclusive to Leon, so I shut that down so I could find a Claire health cheat (did successfully do that a bit ago, so we're good to try that again tomorrow). Instead we watched some Breaking News, then a few random youtubes, and then he went to bed.

I went into my room and did my homework, then threw my slippers and a blanket that also got hit with throw-up into the wash, and now here I am. Gonna dive back into video games and youtubes before I go to bed.

Huh, yeah. Interesting. I am always saying that everything in biology occurs on a spectrum (all generalizations are bad), and "cis or trans" is a biological category, I suppose? I've always considered the categories to be "cis" (comfortable with the gender you're assigned at birth) and "not cis" (everyone else), but that is reductive. I'm incorporating this into my worldview.

use name change: mek → Fetian

Trying it on for a while

Is this an everywhere change or a just here/online change? Happy to adjust as fits.

(Thank you for giving a pronounciation guide)

Sor

Applicable everywhere, but not strictly so ("mek" is still fine)

So other than all that ^ class went alright! More stuff with short forms, this time in constructing "I think that X" and "Y said that X" sentences. During my conversation with Disruptive Student I also got an invite into the class discord where people have apparently been being frustrated by him pretty much every class period. Naturally I've also now read the entire chat backlog

ash went to bed early because he's having a bad pain day, so we didn't get to hang out, which is sad and hopefully he feels better tomorrow and/or he gets a referral to someone who will Actually help with the pain, soon.

So I've just been eating dinner and reading discord, and here in a minute I'm going to play video games. I could have gotten started on homework but nah. That's two pages and should also be pretty easy.
