One thing I am pondering post break-up, which I imagine will get more clarity the further I get from the abuse and what it's done to my brain, is whether or not I even want a lot of.........relationship stuff? I was fine with mine and Sophie's amount of hanging out when we were long distance, but one of the things I immediately struggled with was living together meant she wanted us to have quality time daily and I found that extremely oppressive even before it turned into outright Real Bad Stuff

idk man I just really can't think of enjoying another human's company so much I want them around all the time, but maybe that's the prickly Appalachian in me

I definitely do not see myself living with a partner again -- damage aside, I just did not love sharing a space very much, although I will admit that my perspective is obviously skewed by the caliber of person I was sharing a space with

Someone suggested I might be on the aromatic spectrum but I have damage about being given labels because my emotions/emotional capacity aren't Normal and also it's hard for my brain to believe the baseline is every couple spending 90% of their time gooshing at each other

The IRS sent me a notice that I forgot to cash my refund check from 2012, and after confirming it was Not a Scam, I have quite simply been unable to call them about it -- the line will say "sorry, we're unable to take your call due to high call volume, try again later or on the next business day" and hangs up on me

Someone i know paid their taxes but then got a notification they hadn’t, and spent something like a month trying to get someone on the phone to fix it before they could actually get through. and then only by calling at the exact moment the line opened for like a week.
