Re: Promiseland
Most of the changes done to the game thing are not player-visible, but there has been some editing and a bit more writing added. Also ash pointed out that the website version doesn't actually have the status bar so I fixed that!
I still want a better way to indicate that text is investigate-able than [putting brackets around it] but Sparrow's self-description is only getting longer so. I may think of something at some point but for now we're stuck with it.
The way writing gets chopped up within the code the way it does makes it hard for me to edit it, but I'm working on finding a workflow that will let me polish the prose. It all definitely still needs some love, in addition to there needing to be more of it.

Is there anything that's more of a relief than dreaming you need to do something but not being able to figure out how, and waking up still trying to figure it out before you realise none of it is real anyway and you don't actually have to do anything

Re: Promiseland
Man where did the week go
I slept a lot! It's been rainy and that fucked with my disabilities. Still need to go see dad and current plan is to go on Tuesday which is a single sunny day in another week of forecasted rain.
I've been dipping back into a Japanese hyperfocus, though I do need to get my midterms done. This is another test she lets us retake as many times as we want, so I'm not stressed and may even take it before studying then study specifically the things I get wrong, as I've done on a couple other quizzes. This is one of the reasons I'm more stressed about the essays -- I can also redo those as much as I want but they don't get graded until after the deadline so I don't know what I've gotten wrong until it's too late to go back and fix it.
I watched another couple episodes of Shogun and I've been enjoying it, though the bilingualism of it means I can only watch it when I'm able to actually focus entirely on what's happening, which is a pretty rare situation for me to find myself in.
Obviously also been poking at Inform game a little, but not much the past couple days.
Got my little watch man to finally digivolve! Into the last evolution for this line, so right now I'm sending him on adventures to hopefully maybe get to the final boss there, if this evolution is able to beat everything on that path. And then I'll switch to a different card.
I'm gonna go eat more food and then get my butt into bed.

Sketch I did while listening to a Japanese lesson, of a ket with a different sort of face shape than I usually give them
