Jumped back into Oblivion for a bit, obviously, but bounced off it after an hour or so. Instead I jumped onto Recettear, which hit such a good gameplay loop for my brain that the next thing I knew it was like 4 AM.

Very weirdly the person hosting the conlang relay hasn't said anything since asking the participant who had the torch last week how it was going, on Saturday -- the forum doesn't think they've visited the site since then. The person who is supposed to be the next participant, for this week, also hasn't been on, and no one has said boo in that thread at all. I do hope everyone is okay

I bought Oz some wet food to incorporate into her meals, to try to get her appetite up, and it's supposed to arrive tomorrow, but tomorrow I'm heading back down to the clinic to give the doctors more of my blood, so hopefully it doesn't get delivered while no one is home and have to sit around in the heat for too long.

So I discovered yesterday when I went back to Oblivion that when you uninstall, and then re-install it, it resets all of its settings to default, which is. Really annoying. Because obviously I would rather not have to keep changing the settings back to what I want them to be but also it is 120GB

I am trying very hard to update ESO but between it (also an unconscionably large game) and Oblivion I have 0 disc space left for it to download said update. I just had to delete like, a couple MB of old files to make enough room for the deck to function

I do need to go to sleep in a minute here, so I'll deal with this more tomorrow, but dang. Can we go back to respecting users' disk space please?

At least ESO frees up some of its reserved space when it's done installing, Oblivion just continues being 120GB forever

On top of that I've discovered the sole on my "new" shoe is falling off. So I'm having a great night.

I've asked ash to reschedule my makeup blood exam, given everything but especially not wanting to leave the cats unsupervised all day. Unfortunately I tried to be smart and take a melatonin before laying in bed trying to sleep for an hour, so I'm going to be groggy tomorrow anyway.

Hopefully rescheduling doesn't cause any issues, I am worried about it. The person who called me about it seemed real relieved when I suggested Thursday (she'd asked if I could do Wednesday, first) so I'm worried it having to wait a week will make a problem for their lab or my insurance or something.

Anyway. Sleep.

They're Merrell sandals that I bought used on ebay for forty bucks so like, I can't be too surprised that they're not lasting but I am pretty disappointed about it. I'm hoping I can glue the sole back on and it'll be fine but I have not had much luck with that kind of repair in the past

Person who was supposed to be next in the relay just confirmed they haven't heard from the host, who still hasn't been online since the 31st. Prior to now they've been very on top of keeping everything running, so I hope they're okay
