Oh man, that sucks so much (I blatantly ignored the "don't read this" in favour of "thank you for appropriate content warning so I know what I'm getting myself into when I do read this" --I hope that's okay? It sounded more like a "don't read this because you might not want to do so" than "don't read this because I don't want you to"). I hope the cats continue to be on alert and that it can get solved soon.

It was in respect to your comfort and not anything to do with mine, yes

A developer of a popular nonogram/picross puzzle app has set up a page of every possible permutation of a 5x5 picross puzzle, I think possibly to promote their app being released on steam? It's communal, so it's hundreds of people all working on the puzzles at once (not like, the same puzzle, because a 5x5 is trivially easy and generally solved in seconds, so that would just turn into chaos) and once a puzzle is solved it's solved for everyone. I have solved 699 -- hold on that's a silly place to pause -- I have solved 700 of the puzzles and we'll see how high I can get that before there's none left. Right now the community has solved 5,547,719, out of 24,976,511. I'm also taking screenshots of solved patterns I think are neat, like this frog

Napped a lot of today, then hung out with ash and watched stuff, including Taskmaster and Dragula, both of which we're a little over halfway through the current seasons. I will honestly be pretty happy to have this season of Dragula behind us -- to be clear it's not the current-current season, the latest season was 6 and it was great; we're watching Titans and everyone sucks on it. One of the reasons I want to get through it is so I can listen to podcast episodes about it and find out all the behind-the-scenes drama that was definitely happening.

Conlang relay host still has not shown up, and a mod on the forum has suggested I manually pass my torch info off to the next person in line. I will feel bad about bypassing the host if it comes to that, I'm stalling until tomorrow in the hopes they show up before it matters. I am pretty worried something's happened to them, but I don't know if they have an online presence anywhere else to get any idea what could have happened.

Oz Does Not like the wet food I got her, unfortunately, so I'm going to have to try something else there. I'm hopeful if I mix some chicken broth in to it that she'll take to it better but she's really clearly indicating to me that she just doesn't like it. Going to keep trying for a bit, and may try a different flavour of this same brand if I think it's just that she's not into the beef. Cael is getting little bits of it as well, as a treat, and he's eating it fine but doesn't seem super, like, excited for it either. I dunno

I don't remember if I mentioned the screen I wanted to bring back from dad's last time I was there -- another Japanese style privacy screen, the idea is that it'll look nice behind me when I'm in zoom classes, and that if I do any more recordings I can use it to set up a recording space that won't sound terrible. It wouldn't fit in ash's car, so Dad volunteered Des to bring it over, and they did so today -- and at roughly the time they said they would, even! Dad also asked if I wanted to go get something to eat with them but I graciously bowed out of that. It was nice to see them and I wish they could have hung out to shoot the shit for a bit longer but they just dropped the screen off and left

Alright, tomorrow is going to be kind of a busy day so I'm going to head to bed.

Relay host reappeared! They didn't say what happened beyond a 'something came up', but I'm glad they're okay enough to be back, whatever it was
