OH GOD DAMN IT

Problem student from last year is in this class

今日は十一時に起きました、そしてカエルに食べ物を上げて、寝ました。一時また起きました。シャワーを浴びました。そして庭に散歩をしました。五時にエリカとデイブと「Gone Fishing」をしました。楽しかったです！あとで、アッシュとピザを食べて、「Taskmaster」と「Game Changer」を見ました。

少し元気じゃないです、とても暑かったから。

月曜日にクラスがありますから、日本語が練習をしています。

 
Today I woke up at 11, gave Cael his food, and went back to sleep. I woke up again at 1. I took a shower. Then I took a walk in the yard. At 5, I played Gone Fishing with Erika and Dave. It was fun! Later, ash and I ate pizza and watched Taskmaster.

I'm feeling a little unwell, because it was very hot.

Class starts on Monday, so I'm practising Japanese.

 
Studying has been keeping me up late, which unfortunately has been making me sleep in which makes me have to study late. I think tonight I give myself a hard bedtime and break the pattern.

It was extremely hot today and between that and the air conditioner, I have a migraine.

As mentioned, Erika, Dave, and I played spooky fishing game! It is still very janky, including some jank added since the last time I played (the cooking mechanics are worse now somehow, and there's character customisation options that give "oh. well, you tried" vibes). But it is very fun and I had a great time doing some fishing with my buds. I'd love to do one of the harder levels with them at some point, get some more spooks happening, but also I really enjoyed just chilling with some low-stakes social gameplay.

After the dinner-and-youtube-and-dropout (new (to us) Taskmaster but Game Changer rerun because I've been wanting to watch the Ratfish episodes again) with ash I got back on my computer, where I discovered the professor has finally unlocked the upcoming course on canvas. She did email the syllabus out yesterday, and the course doesn't really have much else except that she does let you see the class roster in there, and yes problem student is there. There's one other person I recognise from the first class I took with this professor, who wasn't in the second class with me (I remember them being chill), and beyond that I don't think I recognise anyone. I am genuinely a little tempted to skip this class, but if I do that I have to wait an entire year for it to be available again, and also, yes, I am a little bit of a petty bitch and want to see what happens when this professor meets this student. There is potential for some schadenfreude here.

I do this weekend need to get the guest room/my office set up again and make sure everything is go on my computer. I did clear some space on it so I can record the zoom meetings. I need to decide if I'm going to take any precautions about the potential that the professor can record my screen. Ugh.

Alright, getting late so going to start moving toward bed.

Of course, the problem with going to bed on time is that it's still 82F in my room

Honestly shocked people are still using substack. People I would generally trust to care about supporting nazi propaganda machines! Like it's not that hard?? To publish your newsletter on literally any other platform? There are plenty of ways to monetise your newsletter that don't involve supporting the platform that literally just pushed nazi propaganda to everyone's inboxes! That there are people ignoring that is wild to me

I can't figure out how to make the Japanese bracket quotation marks on my phone

So I thought that to get the next digivolution for the little man in my watch I needed to unlock the egg through adventure mode, so I went through adventure mode and then went through all the trouble of getting my guy back to the penultimate digivolution with enough time left to digivolve again, and then it turned out that the next digivolution is unlocked through jogress. So that was kind of a waste of time

(jogress is having a specific digimon set as support for the digimon you're trying to digivolve, but I don't have the digimon I need to jogress this digimon)

Anyway I've grabbed a random card from my pile of unsorted cards and now there's a nyokimon in my bracelet

God I hate so much when I try to take a picture with my phone and it takes five fucking hours to actually take the picture after I hit the 'take picture' button

Manual cameras would never
