Quiz done, pretty easy especially given that she went over most of the questions in class, so like if you were paying attention you'll probably know the answers anyway but even if you weren't it's open book, so.
Just 15 true/false questions like 'the particle in this sentence is correct', 'this kanji has this pronunciation', 'this sentence means this translation', etc. 30/30

Having an extremely onerous time of trying to get the Oblivion Remastered update to install which involved uninstalling literally every other game on the deck, several programs, and deleting a bunch of files
Hey maybe games don't need to be 100GB actually? And maybe updates shouldn't require the entire size of the game + the patch size to install??
'You can just delete and reinstall the game' okay but when I do that I have to reset all of my changed settings and that's super annoying

(uninstall literally every other game except ESO which is also a PITA to reinstall and also is bigger than it has any right to be)

Elder Scrolls 6 is going to come out and it'll take 3TB to install and ship with a bug that bricks your console

Anyway there's now two ways to express tense in Teket Lau, one using a clausal verb and one pairing an adjective with the sentence's already extant verb. The clausal form sets a time frame for the sentence as an entire scene and the adjectival form expresses that specifically the verb happened during that time frame. You can think of it as the clausal form promoting the time frame to the sentence's topic
ascending.ANIM DEF.IMM.PAST it.HUN eat.ANIM 1SG OBJ.apple
As for what I've done recently, I ate an apple
eat.ANIM DEF.IMM.PAST 1SG OBJ.apple
As for the apple, I ate it
Putting the tense adjective elsewhere in the sentence (after a noun) would be like the way some people refer to "past-me" and "future-me"
eat.ANIM 1SG DEF.IMM.PAST OBJ.apple
Past-me eats an apple
eat.ANIM 1SG OBJ.apple DEF.IMM.PAST
I eat the apple of the past
(I think that these events are also happening in the past would be implicitly understood without needing to also tense-mark the verb.)

So there is a clausal verb that explicitly marks the topic (ce) but using a clausal verb at all also marks topic, ce just only does that

(The temporal clausal verbs are 'ascending' for things in the past and 'descending' for things in the future, because much like some cultures have a paradigm where the past is backwards and the future is forward, or the past is to the left and the future is to the right, Teket perceive the future as down)
