I've been saving a ramune as a reward after I passed the class, so I'm having that tonight with pizza

So at the beginning of the month I ordered some international stamps, for obvious reasons, and tonight they finally arrived! So I have also finally got my penpal's postcard in the mail. I still need to write in and mail the card I got for my cousin -- I don't think I mentioned but she asked for my address to send a card and I got that in the mail last week, it's a lovely little collage of pictures of her, her new baby, and a man I assume to be her husband -- but I want to take a picture of the Christmas tree with my instant camera to send along with it, so I also need to do that which will take a little experimentation to get it to come out right. Also that card won't require international stamps to mail, because she still (or again) lives in Sacramento

And in less pleasant events, while I was bringing Oz's food back into my room from putting baby mush into it in the kitchen, I knocked my hand against a shelf and dropped it all over the floor. I was able to salvage nearly if not all of it, and also got the glob of baby mush basically all back into it, but it was frustrating and hard on my back.

I should go to bed at a decent-ish hour tonight because I want to get back on top of things tomorrow, but I am going to let myself stay up a little because class is over and unless something drastic happens I have passed. Tomorrow I will worry about things, tonight I will chill.

One of the things I will do tomorrow is some art! I have asked Erika, Dave, and ash to participate in an Exquisite Corpse with me and I'm looking forward to the results! I have no idea what I'm going to draw, but it doesn't super matter because it's not going to be what it turns out to be anyway. But yeah, I will work on that tomorrow so I can pass it off to the next person (I think Erika)

I also need to wrap Christmas presents and since Erik is home tomorrow I suppose I can do that instead of whatever I'd be doing in the front of the house

Oh and I need a shower. I have also been wanting to make a bath happen for weeks now and haven't been able to

She's one of those professors who will put all over her syllabus and materials NO EXTENTIONS! NO RETAKES! YOU MUST BE RESPONSIBLE WITH YOUR TIME MANAGEMENT!! but then when you ask her if you can make up missed work she's just like 'Yeah whatever'.

Yayyyy good. My professional opinion is some balance of "be more of a hardass on the syllabus because it's easier to walk things back than to become stricter halfway through" and "admin/department head/higher-ups require some sort of bullshit severe ruling for ~ classroom culture~ so I'll CYA by putting the language they want on the thing, and then ignore it as much as I can".

Here is a list of games that have been at the top of my to-buy list but I haven't been able to afford them, for no reason and certainly not anything to do with the upcoming holidays

......this seems like a very good use of the steam gift card my father gave me for chrimbo last year, which I have not used because I play a rotation of video games obsessively for decades each, and only add about one new game every year or two to that rotation. So yeah, when Steam stops being a butt, I'll send you a something :3

Is the attention required due to language (having to watch subs or practice translating or ???) or is it like, a depth of plot thing?
