Today I found a line of ants going from one end of my dresser to the other and back with no apparent source, and swarming over a bottle of B vitamins. So I took care of that, and then I vacuumed my closet, so that's all the physical I'll be able to do today.
I just would really like to be able to use my closet again. There's a bunch of crap just sitting out in the middle of my floor and it's driving me nucking futs.

When I went out to water earlier, I found a big ol' trail of ants leading from the neighbour's yard up to our house, so I sprayed the holy hell out of it. Hopefully that's where they were getting in, and I can deter them from there.
Meanwhile, winter!

Went to bed on-time-ish last night so I could be awake today, but I'm having trouble actually waking up so I may take a nap somewhere in here. In a bit I'm going to go outside for a tick and see if getting some sun in my eyes helps any.
I need to shower at some point, and I need to get some recordings for Arcadia knocked out either today or tomorrow, and also today or tomorrow I need to clean out some garage things. I should also bug Woozle for a status update on the email problem.
The idea of doing things feels pretty overwhelming right now, though, so. Go outside and see how I feel, then either be productive or nap depending on results.

I think the problem is less that I'm tired and more that I don't feel like there's anything worth being awake for, especially when the alternative is spending time curled up with my cat
But also I'm tired

Like, the list of reasons to be awake is tasks I need to do. That's not actually super motivating, as it turns out

Okay - went outside and checked along the trail the ants had yesterday for any signs of attempts to re-create it, and then sat out there for a few minutes. Gorgeous weather today, so far at least.
I've also been keeping an eye on my closet, and found zero ants in both places. Going to continue to keep an eye out, but if I go a couple days without seeing any then I'll feel comfortable re-establishing things back to pre-infestation protocols. I do still want to get the caulk in there and touch up any places that could be ingress points.
Even with the sun, though, I'm still very tired, so I am going to get that nap in before it's too late to do it. And when I wake up I'll jump in the shower, and then take things from there.

I have a shower caddy that's supposed to hang from the showerhead, but there's no room for it to do that in my current shower. I'd been trying to find a hook that could go over the shower door to hang it from, but haven't had any luck, and it'd been so long since I started looking that I was finally about to give up and get a waterproof shelving unit to put in the shower, instead
But this past weekend I got a shoe pocket thing for hanging over doors, and by sheer coincidence it comes with extra hooks which are the perfect size to fit over the shower door. So I used that to hang the caddy, which meant I was able to remove the chair I'd been using as a table in there, and was able to take a shower without being crowded by a lot of Stuff for the first time since moving here
It was nice! It removes a lot of stressors about showering for me -- all that's left now is that the showerhead is too low for me to get under even extended to its full height. Which is annoying, but I can live with it for now
And now that the chair is out of there I can put that in my garden and return the chair I stole from the patio to the patio table
Anyway, I have shaved and showered, and dinner will be soon, and then I will hang out with Lee and take the rest of the night as it comes. Not a super productive day, but not a complete loss either, and the nap did let me get enough rest to actually wake up

It turns out I actually have a lot to say when given my own space to do it and no pressure to make it worth an audience's time

And just for fun, my house

I had no idea there was an option to take a screenshot of the entire area all the way at the bottom of the settings, for some reason when I searched for options for getting pictures of my farm that didn't come up.

I love your flower set-up! I started a single player run recently and am using the beach map so I'll have to figure out how I want to plant
