Unfortunately I have to intermission for a while now to hang out with Lee and eat dinner

This is the most enjoyment I’ve gotten out of LotR like ever. Though I have a huge soft spot for Sam.

I had to further intermission to try to fix the subtitles because for some reason every file I can find either doesn't work or, halfway through the movie the subtitles are suddenly extremely out of sync. But I am back to it now!

I do not dig how much Gimli gets treated as a buttmonkey

The whole 'fantasy racism' thing in general I could do without, in this

I am pretty sure Aragorn faked his own death to get out of all these awkward conversations he keeps having with Eowyn

I care about Aragorn and his horse 100x more than I care about him and Arwen or him and Eowyn
