My routine right now is (roughly):
-sleep in too late
-listen to a podcast and eat "breakfast"
-hang out with Lee, eat dinner, hang out with Lee
-do a few javascript lessons
-play Cities: Skylines while listening to youtubes until bedtime
-listen to a podcast/read before going to sleep
It's not terrible! There are definitely things I could improve on, like the sleeping too much part, and I definitely need to work a few more things into my evenings. I also need to work on actually getting into bed on time. But this could absolutely be worse.
As mentioned I've been playing Cities: Skylines again -- I've started a new city to just kind of, practice running a city with. I eventually want to work on making a Snowtown again, but I want to do that when I have the skills to do it well. So I loaded up the redwoods map and named my new town Arcadia -- I'm at a population of 2800 and it's going pretty well. Finally got public transportation, just waiting for offices and high-density housing. But due to the pacing it's a good game to just kind of let run for a while every so often, so it doesn't actually take up all of my time while I'm playing it.
As for javascript, I am now 12% done with the course, and I made it also calculate about how long it'll take me to get through all the lessons at a given pace -- four lessons a day will take 2.5 months, which is my goal. I've just learned the basics about arrays and I think tomorrow I get into objects.
There's some house stress while we get ready for Lee to be out of commission for a while, but that also is going pretty smoothly. I worry, of course, but there's not a lot I can personally do about any of it
I have a doctor's appointment on Thursday to talk about getting that excuse from jury duty. Nervous about that, but also not a lot I can do about it. Dad called today to catch up, it's been a while since we talked. Not a lot to report there, but he might see about finding a way to see me while I'm in that part of the city for the appointment.
But speaking of going to bed on time, I'm going to go do that, and hopefully be asleep before five for once
