I've been e-mailing with my vet and got Baby Dog a scrip for gabapentin to keep around! I had taken her in for a visit back in early February because she was limping a little and they gave her gaba and carprofen; per their recommendation I gave the pills to her daily for a week and then just as needed, and the gabapentin in particular does seem to help a lot on days she's slow during our morning walk. The vet confirmed the gabapentin will be fine even with Baby's kidneys, so I can go pick it up today or tomorrow. I was worried they'd want me to come in for another office visit, but the vet agreed there's no need since Baby is behaviorally fine, she's just ... a thirteen-year-old pit bull. I'm honestly lucky she's as healthy as she is, especially since she's incredibly active for her age.
Okay, it's my Thursday equivalent and I have a few more things to take care of, so let me do that. Tomorrow is Friday and I am excited to dig back into some creative projects I haven't had the brain to do.
I don't do individual character playlists and don't have a project playlist for anything Leon's in atm, but tl;dr this song always makes me think of my large sad son
Weekend achieved! Yesterday at work was slightly agonizing, but survivable, and I have so far enjoyed a relaxing Saturday with Baby Dog. Tomorrow I have some errands to knock out but today I'm just relaxing and getting some projects done.
Literally all i got here is wooooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww, dude.
Hidden text complaints about gross men aside, I have had a good weekend so far! Yesterday was my rest day and I played a bunch of video games and got about 1/3rd done with an art project I want to finish today, and this morning I did some backed-up errands (got a haircut finally, in particular). It's around 1:00 PM right now and I'm sitting to eat a food, work on my art project a little bit more, and then alternate between that and video games until D&D tonight. I also have some tofu pressing to do a meal prep thing with probably in an hour or so when I feel like fiddling around the apartment a bit.
Okay! Off to do things!

I hate this exactly as much as I thought I would! I played a good bit with Greggo yesterday and I have two main thoughts:
1) multiplayer in this game is absurdly obtuse and finicky! I get that's just how these games work (to my understanding, anyway), but ..................... why
2) two times while I was zippin' around with my pal we got invaded and both times it made me stressed and grumpy, I really hate that I can't turn this off and have to accept that sometimes a rando is going to come into the world and try to murder me to death while I'm playing with my friend
My other side thoughts are that ranged weapons are really difficult for my brain to figure out in terms of how to load the different types of ammo and switch between that and your main weapon (in order to two-hand the crossbow it's like you press Y then left or right bumper depending on what hand you have it equipped to and switching ammo types is so difficult for me to understand that I just only equip one type of arrow at a time) and uhhhh how do I???? Look at status effects???? Bizarrely, the "status" screen doesn't show them, and I can see I have little icons under my name but no indicator to tell me what they mean.
Despite my complaints, which are mostly catered to specific parts of the game I do not always engage with (i.e. multiplayer), I'm still having a fun time playing the game and checking everything out! Next time I play I'll go back to the starting area (Greggo took me ahead a little bit so we could buy a lantern) and do a more thorough explore.
