It did not! Because yeah, every durge I've seen has been a dragonborn

I have been enjoying the fanarts of them though, the dragonborn design is very skinky

Weekend has concluded!

As always it felt too short in an already short month (although it is leap year, good news for anyone in highly specifically-worded piratical contracts), but it was nice and I got to spend some time hanging out with friends and generally lazing about in my home. When I get into work today I'm gonna request off for a thing in March (Stardew Valley concert with Sophie!) and may also see if I can sneak myself in a three day weekend somewhere soon, it's nice to have time off to look forward to even if it's just an extra day to be cozy.

I did forget to do laundry yesterday so that's going now whilst I do my workout plan for the week (I am excited to get back into it) and sip some coffeedrank. Also it's the football season finale today so we'll see how that impacts work, usually it's slow during the actual game and chaos afterward because sports fans chronically misbehave when they celebrate, RIP

Dentist appointment today!

While I am proud of myself for finally doing the thing, I am nervous due to a combination of:

they're gonna judge me
I will immediately need 9000 dental surgeries
I have misunderstood my insurance and will owe a katrillion dollars
all of the above but I'll deserve it bcuz I should've gone to the dentist sooner

etc. etc.

I'm sure it'll be fine, but it's also my Wednesday equivalent and I just wanna go back to bed

I got a good grade in teeth, hooray!

I was extremely nervous they were just gonna be like "wow it's all cavities, all the way down" because while I haven't experienced any tooth pain/etc, I feel like I know a LOT of people with "I didn't go to the dentist for X years and when I went it was a nightmare" stories. Which is a valid story, to be clear, because taking care of mouth-bones is weird and difficult. but! No cavities and they said I was a good tooth-brusher, I just need to start flossing.

However, as much as that was a big relief, a consequence of not going to the dentist in almost a decade is I forgot how frickin' long it takes, and also how physically uncomfortable it is. I had to get x-rays, which decimated my fragile gag reflex, and I won't be specific because I know at least one person who might read this does not like to read about teeth stuff but just, uncomfy!!!! and the office was running an hour behind, so it made it take a really long time and tl;dr I ended up calling out of work because the whole process took way longer and was way more unpleasant than I accounted for. So I'm a little bummed about burning a sick day, but at least I know for next time that a morning dentist appointment is a just, have that day off work, kinda thing.

Anyways, I'm about to eat a food and disassociate for a minute and then since I have unexpected evening time I'll probably go get groceries.
