I have apparently reached the point in my life where if you answer around my direct question I'm going to start throwing bows

Chores day!

Today I need to:
do a load of laundry/wash bedding
change sheets
clean kitchen
clean bathroom
dust walls and pictures in: bedroom, hallway, living room
dust/tidy bookshelves and my desk
bake bread
take out recycle and trash

I'm off to a good start and have the bedroom nice and clean, including the baseboards and doors and stuff (I have the landlord special super matte paint that picks up dust and dog hair really bad if I don't keep on top of it), so I'm gonna take Baby Dog on afternoon walkies, take a bit of a break after that, then get back to it.

I get bonus points cuz I just remembered to file my taxes and went ahead and knocked that out

I have some garlic roasting to use in the bread later, and once it's done and I can turn the oven off I'll go on a run and resume cleaning tasks after that.

I did run out of gumption by the time I got to the living room, but I don't have to pick up Sophie from Union Station until noonish tomorrow so I'll finish up the last little bit in the morning. I really just need to dust the entertainment center and my video games shelf, but if I have to clean anything else today, I will perish.

Feels good to have everything nice and clean otherwise, though! I was due for a more thorough cleaning than my usual tidying + floor clean, tbh, so it's pleasing to have all my surfaces nice and sanitized.

okies gonna get my snacks/beverage situation settled before D&D, and then after that I'll probably take Baby Dog on evening walkies and crash on my couch for some video games

also I just sampled the bread and it absolutely whips ass, 10/10 would make again was pretty low effort high reward as far as yeast-leavened breads go

my son learned a cantrip we love that for him

He's been trying to learn Produce Flame for like five sessions lmfao
