Made it!
So far I have done absolutely nothing and it's been pretty great, tbh. The weather outside is gross so my touch grass break is going to consist of bundling up to walk to the library and grab my holds, swinging by the grocery store on the way back to grab a thing for dinner, and then after I throw said dinner in the crockpot I'll probably go ahead and knock out my strength training. I have some video games w/ friends time scheduled this evening (maps in FF14 with Greggo and his FC, and unfortunately, uh, Fortnite, with Sam, because he really wants us to play with him and we love Sam more than we love ourselves, apparently) so until then I will likely just have quiet blorbo-spinning time to recover some spell slots. Last week at work wasn't bad, but I was definitely ready for the weekend to start.
I have some stuff I wanna work on (trying out a program for organizing story notes, some art to finish) but today is just, slug day.
I have played approximately two hours of Fortnite, AMA
Said program was Dabble! I got a free trial of it and tl;dr I think it's a great tool for tracking writing but it's not what I want as someone who writes stories all in the same universe --
That's the basic interface and my number one ick is that the main categories (the ones labeled manuscript, plot, etc) are, for some reason, not renamable? So I can't make a giant worldbuilding document because I'd be stuck with empty "manuscript," "plot," etc. categories and that would annoy me especially in a paid program. The actual writing part of the program is super robust and can track your words, progress, etc., very accessibly, but it costs $10/mo and I just don't need those tools, at that price, every single month.
Also if you're charging me $700 to fully own a program then it had better write the goddamn story for me
Anyways time to just reinstall Scrivener I think, I initially bounced off it because Google Drive is more accessible but I'm joining the chorus of side-eyes re: worrying about it scanning my content, so I may have to become a moves-a-thumb-drive-around writing girlie
...I didn't think about using a thumb drive to move things around, and I feel incredibly silly for not. Thank you.

They even sell cute ones!
Have you looked into World Anvil at all? I've heard vaguely good things about it and have always meant to go looking into it more, but never got around to it, so if you have and have an opinion on it I'd love to hear it (or if you haven't, it may well be a good option to check out for what you want?)

I will check that out! I have heard of that for D&D but never actually looked into it.
Should just revert back to my teenage years and instead of keeping notes just make OC Sims and leave them on free will/autoplay
