Weird start to the day!
I woke up at around 3 AM wide the fuck awake, which sometimes (though thankfully not frequently) happens. I laid in bed pretending I could still fall asleep until about 4 AM, at which point I gave up and got out of bed to do my morning ablutions and then sit on the couch with coffeedrank and do some drawing. I did that until I got drowsy at about 5:30ish and tried to sleep a bit more. I dozed until 7:00ish, at which point Baby Dog brought me back to full wakefulness with a really rancid toot. The rancid toot was likely me reaping what I had sown, since yesterday I did give her a lot of bites of cheese throughout the day.
(It's not my fault!! She likes cheese and she has a very cute face, you see)
Anyways, I actually have today off work so I suppose it's a good day to get inflicted with the Weird Sleep debuff since I can adjust my schedule or even take a nap later if I crash really hard. So that's helpful, at least! I did just walk to the corner store and back for some fresh air because they're doing masonry work on my building and the grinding construction noises + Weird Sleep + Baby Dog wanting to snuggle with me but being super wiggly and restless = I was about to go feral. I have thusly returned, eaten a snack, and thrown on YouTube to help wash out the construction noises, so now I'm gonna do my dailies in bungame until it's time to exercise.
I am frustrated and embarrassed I Can't Just Be Normal (tm) but construction workers have been doing masonry work right outside my windows for several hours straight and that combined with lack of sleep means I am in fight or flight mode
Rude of my phone to focus on my arm hair instead of my watch but regardless I am D Y I N G
That sucks. Inescapable Upsetting Noise is the worst, and always turns me into the worst version of myself. I hope it ends soon

I think they've finally stopped for the day and I am trying extremely hard not to let it ruin my extra weekend time but I already think I'm gonna have to cancel social plans this evening because my ears are literally ringing and I am extremely grumpy and probably not the best company aihg;sdfosghfhdg why can't noise just be irritating??? why does it have to make me A Beast

Anyways I'm at least aware I'm braingross from overstimulation, which I know can be fixed with quiet time and then probably going to bed early, so I'm going to sit for a minute and decompress and then decide if I want to draw or play a video game or whatever until bedtime.
