Re: Changelog
Added an extension to allow users to react to posts with an emoji. Need to muck about with the settings for it, but it should be functional for now
Added a star emoji to the reacts list. I'll be revamping them entirely soon enough, if anyone has any specific react desires feel free to put 'em in feature requests

Re: Changelog
Made bookmarked topics accessible from the quick menu
Made it more clear in Best Practices how to hide posts from non-members
Added this recommendation to Best Practices:
Note that the hidden content doesn't say what group it's visible to, so if you want people to be able to hide responses to the same group, you should mention what tag to use.

Re: Changelog
Added a notice about email issues to the Code of Conduct and Best Practices post
Note: There's currently an issue whereby gmail (and potentially other) email addresses cannot receive emails from the server Elsewhere is hosted on. This means if you sign up with a gmail address, you can't get 'forgot password' emails and can't get notifications via email. This is being worked on, and I hope it's resolved soon, but in the meantime if you need to change your password, you can contact me directly for a new one, and then you will be able to change it again when you are logged into your account. Or, you can use an email address from a different provider. I hear protonmail is good, and have confirmed the site is able to send emails to it.

Re: Changelog
Adjusted naming conventions for groups to make management of them easier on myself (numbers have been moved from the end of the name to the beginning, so they sort numerically instead of alphabetically). Also adjusted Best Practices to "allow" changing the group name
You can rename the group to something more memorable and/or informative for yourself, but please leave the number unchanged and at the beginning of the group name.
You also have the ability to adjust the group settings and to make your group the default group for other users. Please do not do these things.
Added a note on making posts hidden to everyone but yourself
The group number "10" has been reserved for making private posts. If you want to make a post visible only to yourself, you can do so with [ghide=10][/ghide].

Re: Changelog
Added @mention functionality, typing @ and starting to type a name will create a dropdown, or you can use bbcode to mention someone with [mention][/mention]. This will create a notification for that user that will take them to the post with the mention; if you don't want people to be able to @mention you, you can turn these notifications off in the miscellaneous section of your notification options. It does not create a link to a user's profile like you might expect, and I will probably not look into changing that
I made @mentions a green that hopefully looks good and is readable in all themes, let me know if it actually isn't and I'll try to find a different colour
It looks like this: @mek

Re: Changelog
Added this to Code of Conduct and Best Practices:
You can use the same email address to make multiple accounts, and there is the option to link accounts and toggle between them from the user menu dropdown. No one can see what accounts are linked to which.
Made it clearer in CoC&BP that people who aren't me are allowed and encouraged to invite their friends to join us
Removed a line in the TOS about not posting "obscene" (&c) content because that's nonsense. Don't break the law, don't be an ass, we good.

Re: Changelog
The default Atom feed was discovered to deliver the contents of hidden posts to users regardless of whether they have permission to view them, so it has been disabled and an alternative with more robust security settings put in its place. It can be accessed by the 'smartfeed' button at the top of the page
