Did a quick photoshoot last night with some of my jobs to kind of get things started. One of the key features of Final Fantasy 14 is the ability to change classes/jobs on the fly -- they level separately, but once you unlock one you essentially press a button and switch into that job's gear and abilities. It's a nice and low stress way to let you either do All the Things, None of the Things, or Only a Few Things. I fall under "Only a Few Things," so here are the jobs I currently use.
(I'm skipping Red Mage because I'll probably do a full post and better photoshoot involving that, and only going over my classes that are level 50 or higher. i.e. for instance I have a baby Machinist and also am secretly leveling Blue Mage, but they look like disasters because it's hard to have a strong aesthetic before level 50ish, imho.)

Paladin (originally Gladiator, since some jobs turn into other jobs) is my starter class and I still use it exclusively for MSQ stuff! I have a lot of tanxiety so I don't really play pally when I'm in duty roulette, because I don't know most of the instances very well and get nervous about it.
Bard!

I think this was the first DPS class I unlocked. You start as an Archer and later become a Bard, and I actually enjoy it quite a bit! In most video games I don't enjoy the archer/ranged DPS class a whole lot but being a Bard is pretty dynamic and you buff the party with your songs, which I like.
White Mage!

I actually love being a White Mage (originally Conjurer) -- I was researching which healer class I wanted to level, since as mentioned above I don't want to unlock or level All the Things so I'm a bit choosy about which ones I put time into. White Mage appeals to me because, I'll be honest, the aesthetic is cute and it's a pretty easy/straightforward healer class. Also look at the boots I got he looks like a magical girl I love him
And that's it so far! I also have some crafting/gatherer jobs but I'm working on leveling those and getting their outfits sorted right now, so that'll also be another post later on. I really like how the game doesn't pressure you to do things you don't want to do, or makes you feel like you'll miss out if you don't do X or Y. I have one healer class, one tank class, one main DPS class and a few to goof around with. It's nice!
