Re: The Cracked Mug v 2.0
I've been enjoying my Switch a lot!
So far I've played:
--A Little to the Left (I cleared like 50% and Sophie cleared the other 50%; her brain is way better at that type of puzzle/sorting)
--Cat Cafe Manager (I cleared one playthrough of it, which is all I'm interested in for now; my review of this game is like 99% very positive but I will say the replayability seems low, there's no challenge mode or incentive that I saw for doing another run)
--Ni No Kuni (gradually playing through, I have actually beaten this game before way back when it originally released on PS3 so I'm not prioritizing it as much)
--Cult of the Lamb (I've bounced off this a little bit, it's super fun but I haven't been in the mood for roguelike button mash)
And last night I just started Digimon: Cyber Sleuth, which I am enjoying a lot! I had to get my brain into JRPG mode, because it's a very classic JRPG both in its humor/presentation and in its gameplay. It's nice, though! That's a genre I like, and not one I've played a straightforward example of in recent years. Digimon: Survive was too much of a visual novel and lost me almost immediately, but so far this one is a lot more up my alley. I can only click through so much Teenagers in an Anime dialogue before I lose my patience
I have Catlateral Damage on the way (thank you, fond memories of an old McElroy Polygon video) annnnnd I think that's it for now! I'll probably try to finish another game before I give any others a spin, I don't wanna drop $$ on a game that just sits in its case or on my hard drive.

Oh I also did nab one of the Dadish games because it was on ultra mega sale and it's adorable but I have to be in the right mood for it, since it's way outside of my normal genres (it's a Mario-style platformer).
look how cute though!!! he's a dad, but also a radish!!! he loves his sons even when they get lost and sometimes one of them is accidentally a possum!

I'm divorcing Sophie I asked her what my Ken job would be and she said "Stinky Ken" because of the decomposed bodies

Re: The Cracked Mug v 2.0
I realized last night my apartment has gotten a bit skrunkly, just from a week's worth of not quite being at the top of my game re: putting things where they go + a general need to do a deep clean in a few areas. So this morning instead of going on a run I'm gonna do some cleaning/tidying, that way I don't have to worry about it on my weekend.
(a while ago I started trying to treat Future Erika, and often specifically Weekend Erika, as a separate entity who I want to set up for success, and it has helped me reframe my week a lot and keep my weekends from feeling quite as much like a desperate scramble to balance chores with relaxation time)
I thought I had more to say but I am spacing out and a bit sleepy so let me get up and get some stuff done!
