Cael had so much excess energy tonight that I actually wondered if it was a full moon, and lo and behold,

(The real reason is probably because he didn't get as much out-of-my-room time and what he did get was pretty interrupted by dog, but you know.)

Oz is chasing her tail right now, so seems in a good mood, or at least better than it's been!

Finally got the treat puzzles in the garage cleaned off and brought in. Set one up for Cael -- he tried it, promptly gave up, went back to it, got a few treats out of it, and gave up again. It's always interesting seeing which parts of it a cat (or dog) will be good at and which they'll struggle with, because it varies from animal to animal

Finally started making the first room for my game in Unity, I need to research a couple new things to continue but I also did yet more troubleshooting for like an hour before giving up on getting that part of the program to work and moving on. My brain is tired now so I'm going to chill until ash gets home

Been very tired lately and continue to be, would like my sleep schedule to more properly align with my awake schedule.

It's supposed to storm tomorrow, and it's looking like rain tonight as well

Sigh. And Oz came down to sit by the window, so Cael walked up to her and bit her

So he's on time out and of course Oz doesn't want to sit over there any more

Cael has good and bad days, as one would expect -- yesterday he was a doll and today he just will not stop trying to torment Oz.

I've done some chores -- litterboxes, laundry, bills, later I'll clean and change water bowls -- but otherwise I'm taking it pretty easy. It's gorgeous outside and in a bit I may go spend some time out in the yard. Tomorrow I might head into the city and wander around the commons for a while. It seems like I'm finally catching up on sleep, I woke up at a reasonable quarter-to-ten this morning, which is pretty close to when I want to be waking up. Hopefully soon I'll stop being so tired

When I brought Cael home I set him up in the bathroom with a pillow Oz had been sleeping on a lot. Today I've washed it and given it back to Oz, and she seems happy about it

Right now there's a towel in the bathroom for Cael, but I might steal a spare pillow and throw that in there for him instead, if he seems to want something more substantial to sleep on

Yeah, just a real butthead today, refusing to listen to commands, refusing to leave Oz alone, so on, so on, so on. He's getting less food motivated, which is great because it means he's not starving anymore and maybe he'll leave the other animals' food alone, but also means it's harder to get and keep his attention, and that was already difficult in most contexts

At the beginning of the year, I started learning how to skateboard, but life stuff got in the way almost immediately and I had to stop. But I've finally started again!
