Class done! (And lunch done.) She kept us after for like ten minutes past class is supposed to end and only stopped because several students just left because they had work and classes to get to.
Let's see, we went over a translation exercise ('On Friday, Mary went to the park with a japanese friend. They talked at the park. And then they went to a restaurant. They ate a lot. As for Saturday, Mary went to the temple alone. There were a lot of shops. She bought a sweet bun at a shop. On Sunday, Mary got up late. Her mother also got up late. Mary read a magazine in the morning. And then she and her mother ate lunch. That afternoon, Mary studied Japanese. She also wrote a report.') Then we started chapter 5 and went over a powerpoint on conjugating adjectives, and then she explained some of the assigned homework and that lasted until (after the) end of class.
There is indeed a quiz on chapter 4 kanji this weekend and I think she said there'll also be a quiz on chapter four but not this week. And a two-page homework assignment that she didn't want to release on monday because we hadn't covered the material for it yet and she didn't want us to get confused, which makes sense. Chapter 5 is our last chapter for the class (obviously, since we now have three weeks left) but she recommended studying chapter 6 on our own if we plan on continuing classes (specifically if we plan on transferring to sac state, I think, but possibly it'll also be useful for the next class at sac city).
Anyway! Not a lot to do for it.
I'm waiting for pool guy to come so I can do my gardening and walk, in the meantime I'm going to watch some youtube and decompress. After all that I'll see about working on the homework
