So the student that I suggested contact the student who contacted me, to try to be partners, did not end up doing so and thus got partnered with Disruptive Student. Literally "yeah i was [going to ask Student B] but then i was like what if he doesn't want to partner with me i'll just let sensei decide". And then at the end of class the teacher was like, 'Student B, student C, and Disruptive Student don't have partners yet, can Student B and Student C be partners?' and Student A cut in 'I also don't have a partner', so got partnered with Disruptive Student

Class was pretty unremarkable otherwise. We learned some more very basic grammar forms -- 〜ことがあります/ありません for 'I have the experience of doing...' and 'I don't have the experience of doing...', which is just tacking that phrase onto the end of a short form past tense verb. And や as a conjunctive particle, which does the same thing last week's 〜たり does but for nouns instead of verbs (lists non-exhaustive examples of a thing). パイナップルやりんごは果物のが好きです, pineapples and apples are some fruits I like. (I think I did that right? I'm not sure I did that right. I probably didn't do that right. 果物はパイナップルやりんごが好きです, as for fruits, I like pineapples and apples among others.)

(I am watching a group of people in the discord be Extremely confused about who their partners are)

ash is doing some editing, so I'm hanging out in my room until he's up for social. I finally got a Bus Simulator game, because one of them finally went on sale, so I've been playing that. It's fun! A bit too much 'company management' but that is how these simulator games tend to go. I'm enjoying just tootling around the city picking people up and dropping them off

Tomorrow I have a vocab quiz and I want to go through the textbook and pull out all the grammar points we've learned so I can get an idea of what needs to be included in the skit I'll have to write, and also possibly come up with some topics for the skit to be about. On Friday, my partner and I are going to talk about what we're going to do

I've pinged Dave about farm but he hasn't responded yet so I'm gonna bus for a while until he shows up. Then farm or not as things fall out

Washing my blankets one at a fucking time because the washer has decided even two twin-sized fleece blankets at once is too heavy

It's five o'clock in the morning and I have successfully washed one (1) blanket

The last try failed ten minutes after I stopped checking on it because I thought for sure it was going to run

I know water is heavy but you'd think a washing machine would be able to handle a wet blanket

We've successfully made it past the point it usually fails on this one

I don't even know if what's in there is clean, you know, since it kept aborting the wash, and at this point I do not care. I just want to get it in the drier so I can move on
