Extremely niche fitness pet peeve:

break all the treadmills!

It's a specific thing they do, which is they'll sprint fast as fuck on the treadmill, like have it at something absurd like 12.0, and then pull the emergency stop to end the sprint. This is extremely bad for the machine! The emergency stop is for emergencies, such as preventing yourself from losing control and falling off, not to end your workout when your bitchass little legs can't run anymore!!! The treadmill in my apartment gym is so fucking shitty now and it's because of fitness bros!!!!

If you need to sprint so fast that you cannot slow yourself to a reasonable stop, which is a questionable need to begin with, then go run outside or idk get better at sprinting
