Sigh. So I did worry about it, actually, and I went back to tweak one of my answers on the homework and then when I went to reupload it the internet decided that it didn't want to function today after all.

I would like to be done being stressed out tonight.

(The homework prompt was 'Write something you don't have to do' and in permutating ideas I ended up with 'Because I had a big lunch, it's okay if there's no dinner tonight', which I ended up deciding does not fit the prompt particularly well and changed it to 'Because I had a big lunch, I don't have to make dinner tonight')

I sent the professor a message yesterday explaining what happened (both that my computer was unusable basically all of Wednesday, but also that I just outright misremembered the deadline for the quiz) and today she's granted me a couple extra days to do it, so that's a relief. She's one of those professors who will put all over her syllabus and materials NO EXTENTIONS! NO RETAKES! YOU MUST BE RESPONSIBLE WITH YOUR TIME MANAGEMENT!! but then when you ask her if you can make up missed work she's just like 'Yeah whatever'. So I wasn't super worried because I've seen this exact thing happen with other students, someone asking after class if they can have an extention on a quiz because they missed it for some reason and her just opening it back up for them with no questions asked. But of course I was a little worried because what if.

She also tossed me another twelve bonus points on my most recent homework assignment, bringing my total bonus points up to, uhh, 25 I think, which more than makes up for the one assignment I missed (due to Canvas being down when I was trying to submit it) and the two points she took off for only turning in half of one assignment (also very generous of her). So I am sitting awfully pretty right now

Going to do the quiz in about an hour, I think it's kanji readings so I shouldn't have too much trouble with it, fingers crossed.

50/50 for the quiz! Now I just need to take the final exam on Monday, and in the meantime study for it. And even if I completely bomb somehow, I am locked in for 87.38% for my grade
