I woke up and chose violence today

I did also choose to Get Stuff Done today because due to the, everything, the apartment is a bit of a mess:

• clean kitchen, finish separating out Sophie's things and pack them

• take out trash and recycle

• clean living room, remove Sophie's rug and neatly roll it up to set aside

• clean bathroom, finish separating Sophie's things and pack them

• take thrift store donations to car for tomorrow
  (I feel like, given the other context, I should note I am not donating any of Sophie's things, I just happen to have a few items of my own I've decided to part with while going through stuff)

• once bookshelf is dealt with, neatly stack aforementioned boxes/Sophie items in front of it

• return library book
  (this will be good when I need some Outside Time)

re: Sophie's things, I've decided to pack up her things that are in our shared spaces (and to, uh, 'reverse pack' the bookshelf specifically, since the shelf itself is hers and 90% of the things on it are hers, so I'm just going to remove my own things and set them aside so she can handle the bookshelf + items on it), but leave her bedroom and such things untouched. This suits my need to have my own space back and also my moral compass as it pertains to respecting another person's belongings

I am not sure what her plan is to retrieve her belongings, or if she even has one (I am putting off poking about that until after the holidays, just to try and be polite with timing), but I have a right to enjoy my own space particularly when I am the only person paying rent/etc

anyways, for now I'm going to sit and wait for anime time with Greggo and Masque, but after that I'll engage productivity mode. I have a thing scheduled with Fetian at 4 PM my time, so that feels like a good timeframe to get stuff done and then be ready to sit and chill for the evening.

ugh I should probably be nice and label the boxes as I pack them, I never do when packing my own stuff because I just one-box-at-a-time put things away regardless of what they are, but I SUPPOSE that's a bit chaotic to inflict on another person

oh I also need to charge my tablet, while I watch Fetian play bliddy james I want to finish Masque's Christmas present, which is a picture I'm drawing (or, trying to) of their D&D character

Their D&D character is a Warforged so I'm uhhhhh out of my element, never drawn a robot before

Progress!

I'm like 90% done with the kitchen, so that should be done soon, and I mayyyyy put off the rest of the living room until tomorrow because I want to dust and clean everything really good and I don't know if I have that dog in me, today.

Gonna eat some food and then try to finish the kitchen, bathroom, + take donations out to the car before Fetiantime

All done except the living room, which I've tabled as a problem for Tomorrow Erika. Productive day! It feels nice to take some of my space back, and even if Sophie ends up having a meltdown because I moved/packed/whatever her things, I am content in the fact that I packed them carefully and as respectfully as possible.

like if you want me to store your stuff all mixed in with mine, which is what I would be doing because I broke up with you because you were tremendously awful to me, then you'd better be coughing up some rent money

since you are not, I reserve the ex-girlfriend right to gently pack your shit up and set it to the side so I can go about my business

I should probably be ghiding some of this but pbbbbbtbtbbtbt I'll reserve that for things I consider truly private, the fact that I'm going through a bad break-up that I initiated because my ex-girlfriend was extremely abusive is not a trade secret

also god it feels great to remove her nine thousand plastic organizers, she's an "it's not cluttered if it's in a box or container of some kind" girly and while it was such a minor issue I simply let it be, it drives me nuts to have plastic organizers all up in my cabinets

just keep 'em tidy normal style
