I did worry that she ate other chicken parts (we got a tub of KFC for dinner) while in the kitchen and just brought that last one in here to eat later but I didn't see any remains anywhere. So it's good she does not appear to have actually gotten to any chicken bones

I've been watching Dorohedoro and I'm so annoyed because it doesn't! Fucking end! We have one season and a bonus slice-of-life-anthology episode and No resolution for any of the plotlines raised. I'm also under the impression that the manga doesn't end, either, the artist just decided to stop making it after 167 chapters, so who knows if there's any resolution for the plotlines there, either

I'd love to recommend this and make Lee watch it with me because it has amazing worldbuilding that's revealed to the audience super well, but it's so unsatisfying the way it just stops at the end of the season. It's been two years and there's no current plans to make a second season, so.

Shows should have to warn you about this before you start watching them.

So I learned yesterday that Dorohedoro is getting a second season!! Releasing in a few months (probably)!! Also apparently the manga does end? I'm not sure why I was getting the impression it wasn't finished. But! If I read a couple chapters of it a day I can probably be done with it by the time the second season airs AND hopefully the second season either wraps up some plotlines or we seem likely to get a third season so I can show it to ash! Even if it doesn't, if I've finished the manga I can probably get away with just filling ash in on how things resolve myself

Dorohedoro gives the vibe that the creator is every single character's biggest fan, and that always makes for a fun read. I love art made by a person who loves the art they're making

Also Dorohedoro features not One but TWO HUGE STRONG WOMEN as main characters and I love that for it

Okay! I have been very behind on laundry for a while, and I'm still not completely caught up, but I did three loads AND I put away all the clean laundry when it was done. I will hopefully be able to get away with one load at a time going forward, until I need to wash bedding again. Which will unfortunately be soon. Alas laundry is a chore that truly never ends.

ash and I played some Escape Memoirs after dinner, which is an escape room puzzle game that you can multiplayer in. It's very fun, and also very hard! We played for an hour and have solved three puzzles, including the 'escape the cell' tutorial puzzle at the very beginning. It also has a mechanic at the very beginning where you have to trigger the actual game to start, I suppose to give everyone a chance to load in to the level before the NPC starts talking at you, but both he and I this time, and I myself when I tested the game out yonks ago, did not understand that the 'Begin Escape' message on the door was a button and not an instruction. But we did eventually actually begin our escape, and we have a bunch of pieces of puzzle but not much idea of how to put them together. I have faith in us, though!

I do not need to worry about reading Dorohedoro before the second season airs, as it turns out, because when I started reading it again (from the beginning) it sucked me right in and I'm already up to chapter 36. It's very good and I hope the second season is also good!

I am going to eat more dinner now and then go to sleep, as usual laundry kept me up pretty late.

I do not have faith in us.

But it’s fun anyway.
