Signed up for that Asian History class I had to drop a couple-few years ago, same professor even because it's the only online class with an open seat

Also Finally managed to get my promise grant renewed despite, you know, Government Websites, though they might make me come in person and verify my identity because I refused to get on a video call to do that. There was also something about my no longer being in good academic standing and so not eligible for the grant but I'm hoping that's a really shitty website default and not real, because I can't figure out What would have disqualified me if it is

Oz update: Her kidney values have gotten worse, so the vet I spoke to wants to decrease her thyroid medication from 7.5 mg in the morning (and 5 in the evening) to 5 in the morning (and 5 in the evening). He's also supposed to send me a link (I suspect to hillstohome.com) to get her on a kidney-friendly diet but that hasn't shown up yet. And then another appointment in "a couple weeks" to recheck her levels and make sure her kidneys aren't continuing to get worse at a pace that will require more serious intervention of some kind. Unfortunately getting to that office when they're open, so soon after the last appointment, isn't really possible so on Tuesday, Lee is going to see about scheduling an appointment with their sister location which is open on weekends (and is where she had her ultrasound). I have been less than thrilled with the treatment I've gotten from the people at that office so far, but scheduling at the current one is too difficult to be doing every month, so hopefully it will be fine.

Why can't they just take someone else's kidney and put it in Oz

I ordered an outdoor clothes drying rack a week ago and it was supposed to arrive today but Amazon has apparently lost the package, so it'll arrive 'idk, check back in a week'. This foils my plans of doing laundry all day today, and I didn't suuuper have an alternative in mind so I've mostly been chilling. I did cut my nails though, which they've really needed, and I walked/jogged/ran to the ATM earlier, which was nice. We've been having very nice weather the past couple days, it's only just hit 80F here a few minutes ago and there's still a very pleasant breeze

Went to dad's yesterday, which was also nice despite the unbelievably obnoxious kids and both buses being late which got me to dad's only half an hour before Lee would be picking me up. He gave me some more money to help with Oz's vet bills, which I really appreciate and has helped loosen some of the financial tightness this month. And we looked around for some art that I've been wanting to bring back to the house -- last time we went through the Japanese scrolls I believed we had found a set of four depicting the seasons and thought they would look nice hung above the TV here, but as we were looking what we found was a set of two depicting two seasons and a set of two depicting two seasons, and I'm not positive that we ever actually found a complete set of either. But next time I'm over there we'll look a little more, see if we can't find them

I also brought back a painting that I've always loved and which last time I was there, dad casually dropped that it had been painted by my grandmother, which I thought was very cool. That I will be hanging above my desk in the study, and I'll get a picture of it to share online when I do

This week has been another week off of SnowRPG work, which I'm not very happy about, but I just haven't really had time or energy to work on it. I'll get back to it this weekend, I hope

Oz's appetite is pretty good today, so I tried giving her some of the canned kidney food the vet gave me and after a little coaxing she's taking very well to it, so that's great news

God I hate when an order pulls from a different card than the one I'm expecting it to
