More green! er, i mean, okay, yes i'd like to request some emojii, if possible.. and i'll be good and not demand a ferret one but y'know, if the mood strikes you... >.>
I'd also like to have a green heart (all colors of hearts, actually, would be good) & some sort of cat emoji (one like the one with heart-eyes in discord would be fine).
I'm sure other ideas will pop into my head as time goes on ^_^

Re: Feature Requests and Bug Reports
Hi, it's me again, Complaining Ferret! This time, i'm fussing about 2 things:
1) Being silently logged out after only a couple of hours. This is with the website loaded the entire time. If i'm not going to have any control over when I'm logged out, I'd like to know it before i click on a link. Now, I realize that phpBB is probably too static to do that, but can there at least be a setting of "Keep Me Logged In"?
&
2) Notifications don't go away when I click on them in the drop-down menu. This leads to a very confused ferret 'cause i'll see notifications and think i haven't seen 'em yet and click on them & i'll absolutely admit to going around in circles a few times before i realized what was going on. There also doesn't seem to be an option to manually/forcibly clear them; only See Them all... let me see if clearing them becomes an option when i click on "See All" ...and upon doing so, there's a "Mark as Read" but they are still still in the menu.
Old Ferret is Grumpy >.>

Re: Feature Requests and Bug Reports
I want to avoid adding too many reacts, due to the way the selection menu works, but I am going to work on adding custom smilies/emoji when I have time, and I'll see if there are any real issues to adding A Lot of those. (This is not to say No more react options, but I am going to be stingy about adding ones that I feel are already covered by current options)
As for these bugs, that's very strange - I both have a 'stay logged in' option that has been working, and the notifications go away when I've looked at them. When I'm awake and at a real computer I'll take a look at things, but at least that first one sounds like it could be a browser issue, possibly with cookies?

I'm having the same issue with notifications. They go away only when I click "mark all read." I stay logged in, and am using Firefox, but it also happens for me on Chrome and Safari mobile.

Clarity: Is the issue that the read notifications still exist at all, not that the 'new notifications' pip doesn't go away and the colours don't change to the 'read' form?
That is to say, it's not that things are staying like this:
It's that this isn't enough of 'going away' for your preference?

Can both of you try a different theme and see if the issue persists?
ETA: Can you also confirm if this is an issue with all notifications or if it's just an issue with some types of notifications (eg 'someone reacted to your message' vs 'someone quoted you')

Re: Feature Requests and Bug Reports
This one, for me, until I hit "mark all as read," then they turn into the second one. I figured that was how it was supposed to be. It doesn't bother me or anything, because the marking is easy, but I wanted to give another datapoint.
Editing to add--
All alerts, no matter the type.
I will test other themes after I do my outside chores, so I don't accidentally get stuck here before I do those.

Haven't been able to replicate notification issue on linux firefox, linux chromium, or android, with either admin or non-admin account nor by testing your user permissions; I'll see if I can get windows to do it, later

Tried something to fix this, let me know if the problem persists
